Arriving at Milla’s ward, I saw her and Sofia looking haggard and pale, and their breathing was very weak, like they were on the verge of death, yet I felt nothing. Not even an ounce of guilt. Maybe I had become heartless due to their mistreatment for the three whole years I was here and even after I had left the Red Claw Pack.
Nate started checking Milla and Sofia while Hayden, Alpha Marcus, the doctor, and I stood at the side, watching him working silently.
He came up to me with an empty syringe, and I shrugged helplessly. I offered him my arm, and he took out my blood. Hayden and Alpha Marcus looked shocked. I guessed they didn't expect me to help them, even going as far as giving them my blood willingly.
