Kathryn shrugged. ‘Well, perhaps we won’t need to find anyone. Hopefully someone will turn up soon to claim our mystery woman, and all this will start to make sense. There’s got to be a rational explanation. Which brings me back to my summary. Item 6, for example, is Dr Smith’s referral of Julie to the neurologist, Dr Anderson. I was quite pleased to find that because it confirms my memory of Dr Anderson having assessed the original woman. It would be helpful to know if he turned up any brain dysfunction, but I don’t know where we’d look for that. And, anyway, the next item has Julie in the Northern Psych Centre so I guess we can assume that her problems turned out to be mental and not physical. And this is where it gets really strange.
