Once Lincoln and the maids arrived, they swooped up all of the picnic items and started their jog back to the castle without Cofer and Josey.  “I don’t expect you to run back.” Cofer smiled and winked at Josey. “Good because you were going to be disappointed.” Josey laughed. The path to the castle was clear cut through the forest. The large tree tops kept the rain from falling on the couple to a minimum. Like the star filled sky over the cliff, the De la Divine forest was one of a kind in Nethersigh. It in fact was not a forest first but a graveyard. The trees were grown from the corpses of Cofer’s family. It was named after his Uncle, Prince  Dyan De La Divine. A lineage that ended over 500 years ago, tapered off by humans.
