Skye's mouth slightly agaped as she watches Violet ride her own motorbike. She pressed the stopwatch a second late when Violet passed the line.
Her record was way much better than her best one. If she didn't know Violet, she would think she was a professional motorbike racer. Her posture was great and she was really focused on her speed. And she also looks so hot wearing her all black track suit.
Skye didn't left where she stood. She was just looking at Violet as she got off on her motorbike and removed her black with red lines helmet afterwards.
"How was it?" Skye's thought was interrupted when Violet suddenly asked. She didn't even realized she was already standing in front of her.
"Ah,umm... it was great. You did good." She replied, trying to give her a convincing smile but it turns out to be like a grimace. She wanted to smack herself for her stupid response.
But Violet was indeed great. She would definitely gave them a chance to win the race.
Skye subconsciously bowed her head a little. She suddenly felt as if her confidence and the little determination that Violet said to her earlier slowly disappeared. But who was she trying to fool when at the beginning, she didn't have any confidence at all. She would definitely just a burden to Violet.
"What do you have in mind?" Violet asked again. She saw Skye lost to her thoughts for a moment and was eyeing her right hand that was gripping tightly on her left forearm. She knew something was up.
Skye lifted her head up to looked at her. "I'm sorry." She softly muttered. That made Violet stared at her questioningly.
"For what? I don't follow." Violet asked with a deep frown.
Skye sighed before she replied. "I'm apologizing in advance if we won't win this competition. I know I shouldn't think like this but I'm not good enough to compete. I'm not as good as you. I swear."
Violet closed her eyes for a few seconds and when she opened it, her face looked serious. She faced Skye again with a stern look.
"How many times do I have to tell you that you shouldn't think the negative one." Violet said in a little deep voice.
"I know, but I can't help it. I'm sorry." Skye looks a little stress. She was trying to avoid Violet's gaze and was expecting to scold her by the brunette but what happens next startled her.
Violet took her hand, the one that's been gripping her arm.
"It's okay." Violet started in a slightly soft voice. "You don't have to think anything else. If we won, then let's bring home the prize, but if we lose, then we lose. That's it. Just don't forget to do your best."
Skye didn't replied for a moment. She was just staring at Violet after she said those words.
"What?" Violet cluelessly asked.
"Why are you like that?" Skye answered her back.
"Like what?"
