Lucas POV
I was struggling with one of Nathan’s warrior since he was too weak to come after me himself. The man was tough but not enough to beat me. He was enough to keep me from helping Corbin as I watched Nathan take him down though. I wanted to get to him and save him for Corinthia; she would be devastated if her father died and I did nothing. I pinned the rogue beneath me as I saw Nathan take Corbin’s head in his hands from behind. He was about to kill him as a ball of fur broke the tree line and slammed him to the ground. I killed the rogue beneath me as I watched Corbin shift and his wolf kill Nathan. I could tell that the beautiful wolf who had come to his aid was Corinthia. She was stunning and I could smell her beautiful scent from here, even over the c*****e.
