Cory POV After our conversation the man just walked out, leaving me alone in the shed. I heard several people outside walking around and talking with each other but they all seemed to stay just far enough from the building I was in so that I couldn’t understand what they were saying. After a while I dozed off. I was tired and there wasn’t much I could do with all the wolves I could hear outside the shed. If I got loose right now it would mean either I’d be killed on the spot, or I would be dragged back and locked up tighter. Most likely with a permanent guard.
