Lucas POV
I didn’t want to fall asleep but I was so tired and having her close made me feel so calm. Climbing into the hospital bed with her next to me had made the stress of the day seem to melt away. It didn’t help that I had been so anxious the night before that I hadn’t really slept then either. I couldn’t really help but drift off, snuggled in the tiny bed next to her as she engrossed herself in her book.
------------
I feel Corinthia running her hand over the side of my face. She leans down and kisses my forehead. I tilt my head up to capture her soft lips in mine. She runs her hand down to my stomach and I wrap a hand at the nape of her neck to deepen the kiss. She moans slightly into my mouth as her hand continues to move slowly down my stomach, headed for my manhood. It has begun to harden with anticipation.
“Lucas” She whispers. “Lucas.” She says a little louder.
“Don’t stop darlin.” I mumble at her before realizing her voice is distant and fuzzy.
I sit straight upright and quickly look around the room. Its daylight, sunlight is pouring in through the windows and Corinthia is looking at me with an eyebrow raised. I’m sure she knows I was having a s*x dream about her. I look at her a bit sheepishly.
“I was having such a good dream, why did you have to wake me up?” I give her my best, sexy grin.
“Well you were moving around a bit and there’s not a lot of room in this bed. What were you dreaming about anyways?” She asks with feigned curiosity and blushes a little.
“It was about you darlin. Since you woke me up in the middle of it, perhaps you could help me finish it for real?” I’m being bold but I no longer care. I want this woman and I want her now. Granite has been driving me nuts with the need to mark her since we saw her in the bookstore just two days ago.
“Lucas, we’re both crammed into this small hospital bed with a door that does NOT lock and family and doctors that could walk in at any minute. I don’t think this is the time or place to finish your s*x dream.” She gives me a scolding look.
“We can head straight up to my room. You’re getting discharged today anyways.” I grin mischievously at her.
“You need to at least wait until I complete her final checkup and officially discharge her.” Dr. Walters is standing in the doorway with a small, knowing smile on her face.
Corinthia smacks my arm, “See, this is why.”
I feign a wince, “Ow!” I laugh as I climb out of the bed to give Dr. Walters space to check Corinthia over so she can be discharged.
I excuse myself to get things around for her to move up to my room. I had changed it a lot since it had been her parents’ room. The other rooms on our floor had been left basically untouched, including her old room. I assumed the cleaning staff had kept them tidy but the doors had remained shut since I had no need for rooms for children, yet.
