His birthday

It was finally the day she had been waiting for. Dylan's birthday was finally here. His birthday was a day before Christmas Eve. She was so happy. Not only happy about his birthday but happy that he would accompany her to spend the Christmas holiday with her family and also go on a cruise tour for the new year. She had called her boyfriend in the morning to tell him she wouldn't be attending the party at the club, and with his voice she heard, he sounded sad, even though he didn't know what was coming for him. She wore a black short gown underneath her long brown jacket with heels and also applied light makeup. She packed her hair tightly to the back. She wondered what the expression on his face when he saw her would be. "Is everything ready, Mira?" "Yes, girl. You are living my dream right now," Mira said with a smile. She's a beautiful lady with blonde hair and dark eyes. Same height as her friend, Audrey. 5 ft 9 in. "You're talking like Matt is not planning more than this for you," Audrey said, to which Mira also smiled. They both set everything in Mira's car and drove off. Their car stopped through the driveway in front of the club. They got down, and Mira gave the key to the valet. "I didn't know the club was this big." She said, looking at the enormous building, booming with different lights on the outside. It was already noisy from outside. She wondered how it would be inside. She wasn't a fan of clubs, but when her boyfriend decided to have his party there, there was nothing she could do. She looked back at the box of cake in her hands. Strangely, she felt nervous. "Yeah, come on. I'm here." Mira assured as if she could see through her. They both walked towards the entrance and were allowed to enter by the bouncers after showing them a card. They were first greeted by different dim lights, the loud sound of music, and people screaming and moving to the beats. "Let's go search for your man." She heard Mira scream before they both walked through the midst of the people. She could feel the heat and sweat as she walked through the crowd. She tried to search for her boyfriend in the crowd while avoiding the people from hitting the cake. As she walked towards the bar in the lounge area. She got the shock of her life. The box in her hand fell to the ground, and her hands shivered. Her boyfriend. The man came to the club to surprise. He was right there, sitting on a couch and making out with another woman on top of him. Dylan! She screamed, making the two people on the couch finally stop to notice the two ladies standing before them. Tears roll down her cheeks. "How could you do this to me? How!" she screamed, shook her head, and left their sight. "No. Audrey, wait." The guy ran behind her to stop her. He finally caught up to her in the middle of the dance floor. "Audrey, please. I can explain." He said, but Mira, who was out of patience, screamed at him. "Explain? What the hell do you want to explain, you cheat!" "None of your business. I'm talking to my girlfriend here." He snapped. "Why? What did I do to deserve this? What more do you want from me? Why would you do this?" She screamed over the loud sound. She cried profusely. It took all the strength in her not to sit on the floor and hug her knees tightly. All she wanted was just to leave immediately. But seeing the girl he was making out with come towards them and stay beside him, she lost all her cool. She wiped her face with her hands. "We're over. I don't want to have anything to do with you again." She turned around to leave, but was pulled back. "What did you say?! Over?!" She could see the rage in his eyes as he asked, but she was less bothered about that. "Someone, stop the music!" Dylan screamed as the loud music was distracting him. The girl standing beside him went away to talk to the DJ. Not too long, the music stopped. She didn't understand why he would ask her to stop the music. "You want to break up with me?!" she heard him scoff. She could feel the people had already gathered around them, watching what was going on. "Have you forgotten who you're talking to? Who will accompany you to your parent's house tomorrow? Huh! Haven't you bragged about bringing a boyfriend home? You have no spine to do it. You can't dump me. You know the consequences." He laughed, to which the girl behind him also laughed. She could feel the people's gaze on her. She was so embarrassed. Mira came towards her to drag her out of there, but she stayed rooted there. She had to end it with him, even though she knew the consequences he was talking about. She couldn't allow him to embarrass her like that. There was only one thing on her mind, and she knew it wasn't a good idea, but she didn't care. She wiped her face and walked through the crowd. At the end of the stairs that led to the VIP section, she saw him. Without thinking, she walked closer, stood on her toes, and kissed him on the lips with her hands wrapped around his neck. *** "Come on. It'll be fun," Ned said for the umpteenth time that night. He alone knew what he went through before he successfully convinced him. Their car stopped in front of the club. Ned was the first to get down. "Hurry up, Elvis." He screamed with happiness while Elvis just shook his head. He immediately regretted he listened to Ned. The loud sound of the music, the heat in the room. He wanted to turn back to leave, but Ned dragged him through the crowd. They went towards the stairs to go to the VIP section, where some bouncers stood to guard. "What would you like to have? Don't bother. I'll order you the best drinks." Ned said, knowing he doesn't drink or know how it tastes. Elvis just rolled his eyes. He took the opportunity to look around the environment. Different people talking, drinking. Some were making out. He couldn't understand what he was thinking, which made him follow Ned. Soon, Ned came back with a few drinks. He didn't even bother to look at the cup he had dropped on the table. "Give me your key," Elvis said, catching Ned by surprise. "Why? We just got here. We haven't even started any fun," Ned said. He was planning to get him drunk since it was his first time and to also get themselves girls, but seeing he was leaving got him surprised. "I'm not leaving. I just want to rest a little in the car. Give me the key." Ned hesitated for some time before he finally gave him the car key. Elvis left the room and went back downstairs to leave the building. As he walked down the stairs, he noticed the loud music had stopped and another sound had taken over. A sound of something like an argument. "You want to break up with me?!" He heard a voice. He would have easily ignored what was going on and gone his way, but hearing the harsh words. No one deserves such words. He walked closer to the scene. Immediately, he recognised her. The girl from the cafe. He couldn't picture her face since that day, even though he always remembered her, but there she was. He hated she was crying. He didn't know what happened, but he wanted to walk closer to the guy talking and break his face. Suddenly, he saw her looking around before she started coming towards him. The people in front of him cleared the path for her. It felt like he was coming for him, and he was right. He looked into her eyes and saw desperation. It was so sudden. He felt her lips on his. She had pulled him into a kiss, and her arms were around his neck. He was shocked. He couldn't do anything or move before she pulled away.
