Blurb

Faint moonlight filtered through the window, filling the room with the sound of ragged breaths and the frantic pounding of racing hearts. Leo’s obsession had crossed every boundary.

He hovered over Madelaine, kissing her with a wild, desperate hunger, as if his very life depended on it.This wasn't just a kiss; it was a fierce, intoxicating collision of two souls. Madelaine’s fingers were tightly tangled in Leo’s disheveled hair, pulling him closer, anchoring him to her.

In response, Leo’s strong hands fisted into her hair, gripping her scalp so tightly that every millimeter of space between them vanished.Their bodies pressed together with such intensity that not even a whisper of air could slip between them.

With every aggressive, deep kiss, Madelaine’s breath hitched, the smoldering fire inside her igniting into a roaring flame.Suddenly, forcing himself to pull back just an inch, Leo caught his breath. His wild gray eyes were bloodshot with a volatile mix of raw desire, anger, and utter helplessness, his broad chest rising and falling heavily.

Staring at Madelaine’s swollen, flushed lips and heavy-lidded eyes, Leo’s voice scraped against her ears like molten lead: "You're driving me insane... You have no idea how excited my wolf is, how desperate he is to make you his mate.

“A sudden tremor of deep agony cut through his voice. He pressed his forehead against hers, his fingers trembling as they brushed her cheek.

“But... I know that beast of mine, this power inside me, will kill you," Leo’s voice choked, his eyes unspeakably heavy. "And I am not ready to lose you. I am not ready to destroy you with my own hands."

His soul screamed to claim her permanently, but sheer terror paralyzed every protective instinct he had.

Before Madelaine could form a reply to his suffocating fear, Leo’s restraint snapped completely. He crushed his lips back onto hers with a starving, reckless urgency, trying to kiss away the terrifying truth of what they were.

Deep within the dense, shadowed canopies of the ancient forest, Madelaine sprints with breathtaking, supernatural speed. Hot on her heels is King Leo in his terrifying wolf form, his beast wide awake and driven to the brink of absolute madness.

Consumed by a desperate need to mate, he lunges forward through the air, crashing down and pinning Madelaine beneath his massive, heavy frame. Madelaine draws in a sharp, ragged breath, her heart hammering against her ribs, yet she stares directly into Leo’s eyes with unwavering confidence.

Deep down, nervous knots tighten in her stomach because she knows the moment has finally arrived—today, Leo will mark her and declare her his blood-mate.

The ultimate test has come: will her body survive the volcanic fury of his Alpha power, or will she shatter under its weight?

Shifting back from his towering wolf form into a human, Leo looks down at Madelaine with a dark, intense gaze. His voice is a low, gravelly warning: "You don't know what you're asking for. You want the bite of a king... but it could kill you."

Madelaine meets his gaze without a hint of fear, her voice steady and alluring: "I am completely ready to become your mate, my King."

Reaching up, she threads her fingers through his dark hair, gently guiding his head down toward the exposed curve of her neck.

The moment Leo’s nose brushes her skin and inhales her intoxicating scent, his restraint completely shatters. He buries his face against her throat, and with a low, possessive growl, he sinks his teeth deep into her flesh, claiming her.

A wave of intense, electric intimacy floods between them as the primal bond takes hold, burning through their veins. Tearing away, Leo throws his head back toward the night sky and unleashes a thunderous, triumphant howl—announcing to the entire empire that his wild wolf has finally found its new blood-mate.

**

Leo is the fearsome King and his bloodline is so overwhelmingly powerful that no ordinary queen can survive it. His true mate perished during childbirth. Left drowning in grief and a maddened, starving wolf, Leo has searched relentlessly for a blood-mate strong enough to endure him.

Madelaine is an elite Omega warrior. Born under an ancient prophecy foretelling that she would rise as Queen.

Her mission is clear: seduce the Alpha King, secure the mark, and use her position as Queen to tear down the oppressive walls of the empire and win true freedom for her people.

Leo and Madelaine belong to two completely different, clashing worlds, yet an undeniable, magnetic attachment draws them together.

But just as Madelaine succeeds in her dangerous gamble—earning the King's mark and stepping closer to her destiny—an unexpected twist threatens to shatter everything.

Her true, fated mate suddenly enters the picture, stirring unfamiliar, tender emotions deep within her soul that a lethal blood-mate bond could never provide.

Caught between a ruthless Alpha King who rules her body and a true mate who calls to her heart, what will Madelaine choose?

Introduction
Surrounded by distant rivers and towering mountains lay a magnificent werewolf empire. Because of its rich hills and flowing rivers, it was constantly embroiled in wars with neighboring realms. The name of this empire was Wild Blood. It was a massive empire with a population of at least a hundred thousand werewolves. However, the kingdom was divided into two distinct parts by mountains and dense forests. Where the most pristine rivers flowed, the King’s grand stone palace stood majestic and imposing. Surrounding the palace were the estates of the indirect royal bloodlines, forming a breathtaking, prosperous city. This was the privileged half of the realm. Far from this city, separated by fortified walls, lay the empire's second half: Omega Land. The Roots of Division Many generations ago, a ruling father had two sons. He drew a harsh line of differentiation between them: • The Heir: He appointed the first son as King. • The Exile: He banished the second son, forcing him to live far away from the palace. The son who remained in the palace showed no respect to his exiled brother, officially branding him and his lineage as "Omegas". Anyone who followed this second son into exile also became branded as an Omega, forced to build a separate, lesser town far away. As generations passed, the royal family never granted the Omegas a place within the inner city. Gradually, the Omegas were reduced to servants for the royal class. They were only called upon when heavy labor was required or when a war broke out. Entering the vicinity of the royal family was strictly forbidden for any Omega. Luxury Versus Bloodshed While the royal family lived in opulence within the city palace—reaping the benefits of the wealth generated by Omega labor—the reality at the borders was starkly different. • The Royalty: They paid no taxes, enjoyed absolute luxury, and spent their days running, hunting, and playing freely in the dense forests surrounding the palace. They remained blissfully ignorant of the brutal wars raging at the distant boundaries because the Omegas fought those battles for them, shedding their blood and sweat on the front lines. • The Omegas: Though treated as subordinates, the Omegas were intelligent, sharp, and fierce combatants. They deeply desired to breach the palace walls, claim high positions of power, and secure what was rightfully theirs. While Omegas did all the actual fighting on the battlefield, the appointed general was always a royal who took all the glory and financial rewards, treating the Omegas as disposable. Because of this deep-rooted fracture, the state of Wild Blood was growing fragile and volatile. The Omegas were no longer willing to stay silent; they demanded equal respect and true freedom.
