Syd’s POV
There was a knock on the bathroom door and I ignored it. I flushed the toilet and they knocked again. “I’ll be right out.” I shouted through the closed door. I splashed a handful of water on my face and was glad that my waterproof eye liner and mascara were holding up. I dried off my face quickly and stepped out of the door.
Waiting for me with his arms crossed against his chest was Erik. “I hope you don’t think you are going anywhere.” I did my best to stay calm. “You still owe me a game.” Internally, I was screaming with relief. However, I didn’t want to spend a minute longer than I had to in this place.
