The Lost Lycan Princess

Serenity POV Everyone just finished singing happy birthday to me when rogues attacked. My mother told me to run, so I ran and ran as far as I could. My mother told me to run and hide. We had no idea what was happening but today was my birthday celebration and that's all I knew. I ran till I heard the river running and I hid in the bushes by the river so no one could see me. I heard noises and I hid even more in the bushes. I didn't even realize that I had scooted back so far that I fell into the river. I had no Idea how to swim. All I felt was arms around me pulling me from the water. When we got out I saw a very pretty woman with chocolate curly hair and she was so nice. She wrapped me up in a blanket that a man was holding near by. They looked like they were going out for something because they had a small basket full of food. The food smelled so good that I could not help myself but point to the basket. The woman stood up and smiled and picked me up as we walked out of the river bank and forest area. We went to a field with so many flowers and all I could do was play in the field of flowers. After a little bit I finally came over to eat just a little bit of food. I ate a small piece of banana and some strawberries before I went back to play. They just sat their watching me as I played and whispering about something. When I went back over to them, I sat down and ate just a bit more of my banana and strawberries. Finally, they asked if I knew where I came from. We had walked for so long to the field, and I was all turned around, so I had no idea what direction to point in. At 4 years old, all I knew was that it was my birthday today. The only other thing I knew how to do was shrug my shoulders and cry. I felt gentle arms pull me onto their lap and both their heads on mine. From that day on, I became their daughter. My real name never came to memory, so I stuck with Serenity and I liked that name. As I got older I knew I was adopted, and I knew everything was different for me. I was 10 years old when I was able to start talking with my wolf on my birthday. My mom, Shelia, came in asking who I was talking to. I hesitated to tell her because I didn't want to be an outcast at a young age. "Honey, I know that you are a special girl, and I have known that since we found you. We may have never found your real parents, but you will not be thrown out of our home for something that is not in your control. You are safe here and anything you tell me or your father will stay in this house," said Shelia with the softness in her voice. She tried so long to be come a mother only to be told that she would never be one. I finally opened up to her and told I have my wolf, but I can only talk to her. She said I wont be able to shift till I turn 16 according to the moon goddess. When I asked her why I have her now, she said I am special and the moon goddess sent her to me to talk with now so I can shift when I am 16 years old. Hanna said I can't tell anyone that I have her now or that I will shift at 16 because most wolves don't come to anyone till they turn 18. She told me it was ok to tell you and dad after you told me I would be safe here, but no one can know about this. She said I am special and I am suppose to be a Rainbow Luna, what ever that means. I sat back down and played with my toys and my mother just sat their in shock. The look on her face, she knew I was extremely special because she had not heard of a Rainbow Luna in over 500 years. The last one she knew about her name was Hesperia and she was murdered by her jealous twin sister because she was half white witch and half werewolf while her sister was only a witch and she turned to dark magic and cursed her sister. Mom told me a lot of stories, but that one was one in particular that I remembers. Most Rainbow Luna's are a Lycan from Either the North or South Lycan Kings. Only a Lycan could be a Rainbow Luna, but they were rare. So rare that mom actually thought they were all gone. Now I knew how crucial it was because all I could hear was Nathan Honey coming out of mom. Dad came running up the steps. "Honey what is it, is everything ok?" asked my father. My mother welled up with tears knowing what she had to do." Nathan Honey I know Who Serenity belongs to and we have to take her back to them now." my mother whispered softly. He held my mother close as she cried so hard. We had 6 wonderful years together, but what was in store for us I had no clue. My father just sat there holding my mom as she cried and I came over to hug her tightly. Mommy I love you and daddy I don't want to leave you, but If I must go to my true home then I will miss you so much. All I could do was hug them both and pray to the moon goddess for the best. I asked can we still celebrate today and if we must leave can we just leave in the morning, I want to enjoy tonight with you guys and I love you both. Mommy I am sorry I told you, because now I feel like I have upset you. My father grabbed my face and made me look at him, "sweet heart I heard what you told mommy, because she was mind linked with just me and blocked the whole pack out. This is not your fault this is who you are meant to be. We always intended on finding you your real family, but we never knew how long it was going to take. We will still celebrate among ourselves tonight, and we will leave in the morning." said My father Nathan as he wiped away my tears and my mothers tears. We went down stares and dinner was almost done, and mom finished setting up the cake for me. Even though I have been here for 6 years I still had no friends and I was ok with that. I didn't know how long I was going to be here, and I didn't want to make friends in case I had to leave for any reason. I always knew this place was most likely going to be temporary for me, so I kept to myself. I stayed out of trouble and I mostly sketched and played by myself. Matter of fact I was even able to tell mommy and daddy when the Alpha was going to visit. I stayed away from him because he honestly scared me. He knew mom and dad adopted me the day they saved me, but he didn't want me here in case I was a rogues child. No one came looking over the last 6 years and we heard that the Lycan kind was celebrating the birth of his daughter today, and do a vigil in hopes to bring her back home and light the way. We had a feeling that was where I came from 6 years ago when their was an attack on the Lycan king and his Luna Queen. They survived the attack thankfully but never found their daughter. I wanted to find answers and I know my parents did too. So we finished the celebration and then packed for the trip tomorrow. So this was going to by my journey to find out if I was the Lost Lycan Luna with rare powers.
