Chapter : Four

Elle's POV 

As soon as we started walking towards the house and waving bye to my mom, we could see loads of people outside. Talking, making out, drinking and doing other things. Not much had changed from outside other than the fact there was more people and they were dancing in the lounge area and kitchen. Some even on the stairs making out. 

"Okay I’ll be back soon don't get up to anything cheeky" Sophia said over the loud music while throwing a wink my way and making her way into the crowds of people. I may as well get myself a drink. Walking straight to the kitchen I grabbed those red plastic cups and poured myself a drink feeling arms snake around my waist causing a smile to find its way on my face. 

"Hello gorgeous, fancy seeing you here." I heard a voice that I would automatically recognize whisper in my ear. Turning around to come face to face with Eli. His dirty blonde hair swaying over his drunk beautiful face that I could kiss all the time. His blue eyes looking down at me with a smile on his face. 

"Well hello to you too" I replied smiling up and giving him a kiss, well more like made out on the counter. After minutes pasted, we stopped to catch a much-needed break to catch our breaths. Seeing his puffy red lips made me want to kiss him so badly again but I chose against the idea. I could not come off too strong to him. 

"I will be back soon don't go anywhere darling" He said as he left towards the lounge area as I jumped down off the counter and drank my drink while walking towards where Eli left too. I watched everyone dancing and grinding on each other and decided to go join in on the dancing. Spotting Sophia on the other side of the room, I walked over to her and started dancing with her. I could see the sweat practically pouring from her face. Minutes that felt like hours I felt someone’s arms around my waist, pushing the waist downwards into my backside grinding on the person behind me. Only to earn a moan of pleasure. As I turned around, I saw that it was Eli and someone who was supposedly best mates with him instead, Leo. I was too drunk to realize that I should not be dancing like this with him I carried on only for someone to rip him apart from my body making it go cold from the warmth of him. 

"Get the f**k off of my girlfriend you ass hole." I heard Eli shout at Leo pushing him to the middle of the room. "Whoa dude chill she was dancing on her own and you weren't exactly dancing with her." Leo laughed, not caring about what Eli would do. "That's it you've had it ass hole." Eli growled or what I thought was a growl and lunged himself at Leo only causing everyone to back off or run in different directions. Causing me and Sophia and a few others from school to be in the room. How could I stop them? "Maybe by jumping in between them” I heard a voice inside my head say, what the actual hell, who is that?! I thought to myself while slightly freaking out but I had to stay concentrated and stop the fight from getting worse, so I decided to jump into the middle of the fight and try my best to stop it only to get hit straight to the jaw feeling it go to completely the left side of my face. 

Seeing who hit me Eli quickly got off of him and tried to get a hold of me for hitting me and apologize only for me to push him and run out the door and down the street my mom dropped me in with Eli shouting my name. As I tried running, I tried to ring my mom to pick me up, but it just kept ringing. 

"Please pick up mom" I said out loud talking to no one. Not paying attention I fell over something hard and fell flat on my face still being able to hear Eli shout my name while still running the direction I ran. As I got up and turned to see what I fell over and what I saw broke my heart as I ran to the body that was laying on the floor only to see that it was my mother. As I quickly ran to her dead body and picked up her head and pulled it close to my body as I saw a weapon lying next to her body. I walked over and saw that it was a gun. Had she killed herself? Had someone shot her in the street? How long had she been here for? As I pulled her head back into my chest, I heard someone’s footsteps get closer to me and then heard them stop straight away. 

"Oh my god" Eli gasped
