Elle's POV "So, I heard about a party happening at Alex's on Friday, are you coming?"  Sophia asked with a hopeful tone in her voice  "Obviously, I will be coming, when have I ever missed a party, especially when its going be the party of the year." I replied with excitement knowing how much she is going to get excited about it. Whenever there's a party we always go to my house to get dressed up and then head over to whoever is throwing the party usually Eli would drive us but seeming as how he will be getting drunk with us this time, he wouldn't be driving.  After the bell rung for about the millionth time today, we all met up at the cafeteria, there must have been at least twenty people sat with us I mean obviously on different tables, but our group was huge.   "Hey gorgeous, this party is going to be absolutely sick. The whole school is going be there and there is just going to be sooo much alcohol. I actually cannot wait." Eli said sitting down next to me.  "I know I can't wait either. I and Sophia are going to meet at my place then get a ride from there, and we will meet up at Alex's house." I said kissing him on the cheek earning a smile in return.  Soon after the bell rang for our fourth period, and we were on our way back to lesson.  * One Week Later (Friday) *  I started to get ready for school throwing on my little cute hat, a pull-on cotton white top, my favorite black skinny jeans and my favorite pair of converse black shoes. Well I think I have found my favorite outfit.  "Sweetheart, you're going to be late for school if you don't hurry up" I heard my mom shout up interrupting me from checking myself out in the mirror. I quickly grabbed my bag and rushed downstairs.  "Hey, I'll be home pretty late tonight I'm going out with Sophia and Eli." I told my parents before heading to the door.  "Honey wait, I was wondering if you'd like me to take you to school today" "Yeah that'd be great mom"  "I hope you know I love you with my entire life and I'd take a bullet for you sweetheart and whatever comes to you in the future just know it would never be your fault okay" My mom said out of nowhere slightly worrying me with her words what did she even mean by that. Why is she acting like she is about to lose me forever?  "Of course, I know you love me, and I love you tons as well, but why are you acting like I'm about to lose you?" I asked with concern and curiosity in my voice.  "Oh don't worry everything is fine and you don't need to worry about anything, but let’s change topic and decide what you're going to wear tonight and about who will be driving you and Sophia to the party." She said with a small laughter at the end.  "Honestly, I haven't even decided what to wear yet. I have so many clothes and they're so boring maybe we could go shopping after school and then help me get ready and maybe drive us to the party?" I asked maybe a little too innocently.  "I will most definitely help you and drive you, sweetheart." My mom was the best. She was perfect in every way possible. She was great at her job as a doctor, she was great at being a mother. She was simply great at everything and I hoped one day that I could be like her. I never loved anyone more than my family. We would always have family nights on Saturdays.  "Well here you are, and I will see you later okay"  "Thank you and I will see you later. I love you, just so you know." I told her just as I was about to leave the car.  "I know you do, and I love you too." She replied with complete honesty in her voice. "See you later mom."  "Bye sweetheart"
