“Craig, Pauly thinks he knows where she is.” Maggie could barely conceal her elation. “One of the president’s guards say they flew her to a mountain coca farm several months ago.”
“A mountain coca farm? Did he say where?” Craig sat forward in his chair.
“He didn’t seem to know. He said they were flown there in a helicopter and she was left there with several other prisoners. He knows it was her, Craig! Ortega had met with her that morning to make the tape they sent us.”
“That was more than a year ago, Maggie. There’s no telling if she’s still there. We haven’t seen or heard anything since.” Craig hoped Maggie wouldn’t have her hopes dashed. This was still a long shot. Anything might have happened since that tape was made.
