THE JENKINS' TWINS

3rd Person's view Year 1902 That morning everyone was so busy preparing for the birthday party for Queen Elysia. Unlike in what everyone knew about vampire, this young Queen was so different among her race that made everyone loved her. She was a kind-hearted Queen who only wanted to unite ordinary human to supernatural beings like them, but that also created an unknown enemy of her. Since her husband, King Randall became the Vampire King they also established a secret war between them and to those people who have the thirst for his powerful position. They received threats in almost everyday. The Queen felt scared for their first baby that currently in her womb but the King made sure that no one will touched her except him and their families' doctor. Her pregnancy was so sensitive and odd. It was already her due that month but still no one knew nor predicted what will be her baby's gender nor the future of that child. Even the best clairvoyant and witch can't predict the baby so the Queen believed that her child was a special one that needed to be watched. The most anticipated night came. Besides her birthday celebration, it was also the first time she will be seen in public after they announced her pregnancy. King Randall refused at first but since it was his wife who already wished to come out again in public then he let her do it but he made sure that he will be in her side wherever she go. The party was open for every kind, there were also the King and Queen of its own. The wolves, witches, gargoyles, including those belong in the lowest sector of their community. Everyone was in awe as the Queen and King walked in the red carpet but not her, the culprit who kept on sending threats. "I wonder what will be your reaction if you find out that this will be your last celebration b***h?" she thought in the corner then drunk her fresh blood wine. "It's so nice to see you all again after 8 months..." the Queen started while giving everyone her warmest smile. Despite of the threats they received for the past years, they tried their best to be joyful outside. After the Queen's speech she decided to go back to her room because she doesn't feel good and visitors understood it. She was resting in her Queen's size bed while the King was in her side massaging her palm as a comfort. "Are you sure that you're okay here?" the King asked as he continued massaging her palm. "Yes so go now, they need you there. Don't worry that much about me. Maybe our baby just want to rest that's why" then she chuckled to lift up the mood inside the room. She knew how worried everyone to her when she felt dizzy while her husband was giving her speech. "Then I'll go now. I'll just announce to them that you're okay and just tell my gratitude to other Kings and Queens for their appearances here. If you need anything just call the maids and doctors outside or me. I love you..." he kissed her forehead then her baby bump. "and i love you too little vampy. Be good to mommy hm?" he whispered but enough for the Queen to hear that made her chuckle. He transformed into a bat so that he can go on the event faster. All of the sudden, the wind blew hard inside the Queen's room that made the windows opened. Though the Queen was weak, she tried to walk in the windows' direction and closed it. When she came back in her bed, someone was already sitting in it. "Oh why are you here? You should be enjoying this night in the party" she then sat besides her. "Yeah you're right. I should be enjoying this night that's why I'm here dear Elysia" then the woman in tight red dress giggled. "Why? You want to see my baby?" the Queen chuckled. She doesn't have a clue that this woman will give her harm that will change her life. "You know what Elysia? This whole room should be mine including Randall" the woman whispered. "What did you say?" Queen Elysia knitted her brows. "Nothing" then the girl smirked in a deadly way. "By the way, I'm here to give my gift for you personally" she suddenly changed her expression. The Queen was already sensing something was wrong but she just shrugged it off since this girl is one of her trusted person. "That's so sweet of you" the Queen responded. The woman drastically pushed the Queen on her bed. "What's wrong with you?" the Queen asked in surprised. "Oops sorry" the woman just laughed like it wasn't wrong to push the Queen. "Chill Elysia it's part of my gift" The Queen glared at her but it didn't scare the woman. "I think you already drunk too much, just give me your gift so you can go home after" she tried to get up using her elbow because her abdomen was so heavy because of her baby but then she received another push from the woman. This time the Queen felt a pain in her abdomen. "Anya help me-- aaaaa!" the Queen screamed in so much pain but the guards outside her room didn't hear it because the woman put a spell in their guard that made them sleep. "Please anya help me-- aaaaa!" the Queen screamed again but it was futile. "And why would I help you?" the woman replied without any reaction in her face. "W-why are you like this Anya?" the Queen managed to ask even though she was already in pain but what the woman replied to her made her froze. "Because I want you dead" the woman said when she leaned closer to the Queen's ear. "No A-anya this is not you!" the Queen was trembling in fear when the woman's eyes turned into a whole black that smells danger. The woman roared when she felt some presence coming so she didn't waste a minute and took a black rose. She took the Queen's hand and sting the rose's thorn to Queen's finger that made her bleed right away. "What did you do?!" "Just give you my gift. Don't worry my Queen, that wouldn't hurt and you probably be dead 30 minutes from now" the woman said with a smirk. "By the way, happy birthday" Not long after, King Randall came in his bat form with some doctors and securities. "Elysia!" he called out as he stormed in inside the room. He saw his wife in her bed having a difficulty to breath. His emerald green eyes turned into crimson red. Randall hurriedly went to his wife's side and comforted her, doctors started to move when they all saw her having difficulties to breath while the securities scattered around the room. The private doctor of Jenkins' was the first one to check on her. After checking the Queen, she faced the King. Shock and fear were written all over her face. "This is bad" "She was poisoned by the black rose and the poison slowly invading her body" her lips quivered as she spoke. "Then what are you doing?! Heal my wife now!" the King growled in authoritative way. "Aaaaa!" the Queen suddenly shouted in pain again so the doctor checked on her again and they all frozed on the doctor's words. "The baby's coming!" They all panicked inside the palace and the news spread so fast like a venom. Almost everyone stopped breathing like their life depends on the Queen. "Randall please l-listen to me... Save o-our baby first" the Queen managed to say even though she was having a hard time to breath. "What? Elysia they can save you and our baby at the same time" the King slowly losing it. They all know that no one knew how to cure the deadly poison of black rose but still, the King wanted to trust his guts. The couple talked using their own mind so that no one else can hear them because of the special bond that they had when they decided to marry each other. In the end, Elysia won against Randall. The King's soul shattered as his wife said her last word, "My love for you can't be measure by any means Randall. Please love our child like the love you have for me. I love you..." and by that the Queen gave her remaining strength to deliver her child. "A princess" the doctor said as she carefully gave the small vampire to her father. The time Randall clutched her daughter into his arm, he can't tell what exactly the feeling of holding her daughter for the first time. He wanted to cry because of his beloved wife's death but he needs to be strong and show no weakness to anyone for her daughter. "Wait King Randall--" the doctor spoke again but stopped in disbelief. "She has a twin!"
