RYKER'S POV I knelt down on the ground with my forehead touching the cold floor as a means of submission and defeat to my own brother Kael. He was standing before me, his eyes shinning with excitement. I was angry and frustrated at the same time inside of me, but I couldn't acknowledge it because of this deep-seated fear in me. So when I tried to speak, to beg for mercy, my voice sounded like it was trapped in my throat. I was indeed trapped. Kael's face hovered around me as his burning brown golden eyes taunted me.
