ARIAS POV The walk back to Kael’s territory was a lonely one. My feet felt heavy, as if rooted to the ground. I didn’t want to move. Michael was truly gone; a harsh reality and the pain my heart was feeling was enough to suffocate me, making it harder to breathe. I remember Kael’s last word to me. “Aria, you need to get a grip on yourself," and I mumbled under my breath. "All this happened because of you”, I spat, without realizing he was walking beside me.
