Chapter 5 James "I really missed her." John said, sighing. "Brother, now isn't time yet." I chided. "James, you know we can sneak to see her." Matt when he barged in my room and plopping himself on my couch. They always barged in and out my room whenever they wanted. Annoying but I'm used to it. "What about the Alpha. God knows he could raise hell if we're all gone." Beta Greg, who was standing near the window, raised his eyebrow on us. "Why won't we tell him? At least ask permission to go visit?" John suggested it's as easy as one two three. "Gosh! Bro you know it too well. Alpha George won't allow us unless we tell him the real story." Beta Greg rolled his eyes on him. "And unless you want us and her to suffer." I said darkly. Almost choked on the words. I, myself, won't allow it to happen in her. "We won't allow it." Matt seconded. As I looked at them, their faces were grim and their eyes darkened. We fell in uncomfortable silence for a moment before Beta Greg broke it. "Let's take it like this. John, James and Matt will go check on her. Then Me and…" He looked around like finding something or someone. "Where's Jam?" He asked when he didn't notice him around. "He's washing his hands for about an hour now in the Comfort room." Matt answered pointing at our right door where my comfort room was located. "He really couldn't resist on washing his hands from time to time." Beta Greg said, plopping himself in the bed beside me. "Yea. For he always touch his d*ck." John joked and laughed at the same time Jam crossed the room. Jam stopped on his tracks and slapped John at the back of his head causing him to slip on the floor. He groaned out loud and cu*sed at him. We all laughed at his unfortunate scene. "You should get going and take a car with you. You wouldn't want that stripping show again and used her grandma's dress, would you?" Beta Greg laughed at the memory of us on a stripped show infront of her. "That was epic." We only laughed at it and decided to take his advice. We exited from my room. "We should be careful. The alpha might know this." John whispering. I rolled my eyes on his remark. "You know, werewolves have heightened senses. Either you whisper there or not, you will be caught. I suggest silence rather than be loud." I suggested in my most normal voice. Well, you couldn't blame me. He was so annoying. "And let's move faster." I added. Instead of answering, they gave me thumbs up. Like I said, we moved fast to where the hidden car we hid. We always hid cars not so far in pack houses. We didn't want to risk using the cars in the pack's lot. My cousin might be a beta and I might be a gamma, we're not excluded in punishment. We eventually arrived at the backyard of former Luna of the pack. Suddenly, we heard the shouts of Luna and commotion in the house. We looked at each other after we parked. We quickly withdraw from the car and run to the house, not liking the situation. "Former Luna" "Lia" "Dalia" We called in unison when we went inside and ran upstairs where we heard the commotions. Only to find them on the floor. Dalia was lying on the floor, unconscious. While the former Luna was holding both the back of her head and spine. She's too weak to uplift her, so she's shouting Dalia's name for her to wake up. "Former Luna." We bowed our head to acknowledge her. "James, John and Matt." She called us with a relief in her voice. "Thanks Goddess. Please. Can you bring her to her bed? She's too heavy for me." She said with a gentle smile. We all know, she wasn't weak when she was our age. We know why she's getting weak and we do understand her. Without complaints, we did as she was told. "Thank you so much, boys. If you weren't here, I don't know what to do to her really. She's so heavy for me." She gently laughed. We laughed with her. "What happened to her earlier, former Luna?" asked Matt, confusion and worries were written in his face. We were looking at Dalia who was now in bed. "I was telling her about our kind. I think she couldn't take it all. She collapsed." She answered. "It is pretty normal for her. Anyway, you can call me Olivia." She requested as she looked at us with a gentle smile. We didn't object to her request as we returned her smile. She was and is still gentle despite what happened to her and her mate. That's why she gained our trust and respect without lifting a finger. "By the way," She looked at us once again after a minute of silence, watching Dalia sleeping soundly. "Why are you here, boys?" she asked gently. "We are here, just to check Dalia." I answered. I scratched my nape. "Oh boy. You don't have to. She's safe here. I eventually told her about our kind and where she's coming from." "We were just worried Olivia." John countered, looking restless. "Yes. I know. I've seen your face when you barged in my house. You were like ready to fight." she chuckled at us. We couldn't help but join her. It's true though. "You can't blame us. The moment when dad told us about her, we became responsible to her. We came to love her." I said with a smile on my face while looking at sleeping Dalia. I know, I may sound a love sick puppy but that's what we really feel towards her. "Yea. I agree to that, Bro." John said with a nod. While Matt gave me a thumbs up. "Thank you for loving her, boys. Even if she didn't know you. Someday. In the right time, she will. Eventually, she will accept her fate. I know you are there when she comes to a point in her life. I know, I can count on you." She held us in our hands. It gives me chills. I don't know why. "I trust you." She held with conviction while looking in our eyes. It came to silence us for a moment before we nod like we were complied. "Grandma? What are you talking about?" ** HAPPY HOLIDAYS and NEW YEAR! CHEERS FOR THIS SURVIVAL YEAR! WELCOME NEW CHALLENGE!
