Hades Pov

"About time you claimed her Prez. Think she gonna make you work for it!" Whiz says, as we walk out of his office and head towards church. He thinks? Well, I damn well bloody know. The chase will be good, but when I finally have her 100%, my property patch on her and name inked on her skin that will make all the chasing that much sweeter. What will be even better is when she wears my rings, becomes my wife and births my kids.

"Well f**k" I said, stumbling to a stop at the thoughts in my head. Whiz turns to look at me and laughs.

"Oh man" he says through his laugh.

"What?" I ask.

"Your face says it all. You want to wife her up and knock her up, don't you?" he says.

"Church now" I mumbled, walking past him without answering his question. The answer is yes, but the fucker doesn't need to know that. The whole damn club will know before we get to church.

"Come on Hades, we all knew you would claim Aspen at some point. Marriage and kids follow" he said, still laughing as he followed me.

"f**k off asshole" I grumbled, walking into church and sitting in my chair at the head of the table.

"Right get this over with, tonight we will celebrate and party," I say. With the room now quiet, all eyes are on me. I filled the brothers in on what Rage told me was going on with Aspen's dad. The guy's ain't happy. They all see Aspen as a sister and some even as a daughter.

"What are we going to do about this asshole" Knives asked. He is my Road Captain. Also, a very close friend.

"Not much we can do right now. Whiz, tell them what you got" I say.

"Nothing, absolutely nothing. From the details we have got from Aspen and Lilly over the last year, Frank Jenkins does not exist. I also found that before the age of 5, neither did Aspen. Mark and I are going to hit the computers after church and see if two sets of eyes and hands are better than one." Whiz says.

"You think they could have been in hiding? Or witness protection?" Law our legal guy asks.

"Possible but my gut is saying no. With what we don't know about him and the fact that Aspen didn't exist before the age of 5 something else is going on. I just can't say what" Whiz replies.

"I agree with Whiz. I might not know nerdy computer s**t, but I know enough to say everyone leaves a trail somewhere," Trigger, my enforcer, says. He got his road name because the fucker never misses his target no matter what gun he fires. Ex-Special Forces and one mean son of a b***h when needed.

"While Whiz keeps digging, I want eyes on Aspen and Mia at all times. Her dad seems adamant, if not desperate, that she marry this guy in 5 weeks," I say.

"He can't just force her. He will have to go through all of us." Chains grits out. I know this is a little close to home for him. His sister had an arranged marriage to a friend of his mum's and her husband beat her almost to death. Her husband is now dead thanks to Chains and his body will never be found. His sister lives in town and is slowly rebuilding her life.

"No one is gonna force her into anything. We will not allow it and, trust me, neither will Aspen. For now, all we can do is keep an eye on them both and wait to see what Whiz and Mark can dig up" I say, and they all voice their agreement.

"Anything else we need to bring to the table?" I ask.

"So you finally claimed Aspen?" Playbay asked. He might be a lady's man and f**k any willing woman, but the man is f*****g good with numbers and makes a damn good treasurer.

"I was going to announce it later tonight, but yes I have," I replied, looking around the room. Cheers and hollers fill the room and every single one of them tells me it's about time.

"Have you told Lilly yet?" Law asks.

"She was in the room when he claimed her and tried to break my nose. Not broken by the way, asshole" Rage said.

"Teach you to try and take my woman" I replied.

"What?" Knives asked. Rage went on to tell them how he ended up at the receiving end of my fist.

"So how did Lilly take the claiming?" Knives asked once everyone had finished taking the piss out of Rage.

"She's all for it. Gave me s**t outside beforehand. Basically demanded I claim her" I replied. Smiling as I think back to that conversation, then the smile falls from my face as I realize Aspen has no idea Lilly is onboard with us getting together. Maybe that is why she is holding back. Looks like I need to have a word with my woman.

"Right you fuckers, church is over. Time to get back to the rest of our family, and tonight we party to celebrate my old lady" I say, standing up. f**k it feels good to finally call Aspen my old lady. Everyone clears out the room and I leave last and go in such of my woman. I can't find her outside the back of the clubhouse, but I do see Mia. She is playing on the swings with a few kids her age. She looks happy, but still a little nervous. Lilly is standing close by with Knives's old lady just in case. Knives and Law are the only other brothers with old ladies. Law's old lady is not here today. She is a nurse and on shift.

"Hi Lisa," I say, giving her a kiss on the cheek. Lisa is younger than Kinves by more than a few years, but age has never mattered to them. They love each other and that is all that matters.

"Hey Hades" she replied.

"Where is Aspen?" I asked, looking at Lilly.

"She went to get her dirty clothes from your room. Side she's gonna head home with Mia soon" Lilly said.

"Why would her dirty clothes be in Hades' room?" Lisa asked, looking confused.

"She took a shower there after the twins covered her in food." Lilly told her.

"And she is Dad's old lady now." Lilly added.

"About damn time, congrats Hades" Lisa said, smiling but not commenting on the fact Lilly called me dad. The whole club knows she is more my daughter than my niece. She just needed to be ready to call me dad in her own time, and it seems now she is ready.

"Thanks. Does Mia want to go? She looks OK and happy playing with the other kids." I say, watching the smile on her face get bigger as one of the boys gently pushes her on the swing.

"She is totally happy around other kids dad, Just nervous around men" Lilly says, looking at Mia with a smile on her face.

"I'm gonna go find my woman. She and I need a little talk" I say. Pulling Lilly into a hug.

"I love you, Lilly always have and always will. You have been my daughter since the day I first held you. Biologically you might not be, but in all the way that matters you are." I whispered in her ear.

"I know Dad" she whispered back.

"Been waiting years for you to call me dad. It was worth the wait. You are amazing, Lilly, and I'm proud to call you my daughter," I say, pulling back and seeing tears in her eyes.

"Happy tears?" I ask.

"Very happy. Go and find Aspen dad. I think" Lilly says, but stops.

"What is it, Lilly?" I ask.

"I think, no, I get the feeling Aspen is going to try pulling away and distancing herself from the club. She was quiet when she came outside and didn't really talk to anyone. When I tried to make plans with her for my days off work, she kept coming up with excuses." Lilly Whispered.

"Sweetheart, that is not happening" I say.

"I have claimed her and trust me she ain't going anywhere. I think there is something else bothering her, but I will sort that out with her in a few minutes. You keep an eye on Mia and let me deal with Aspen okay" I say.

"Okay" she replied.

"Love you sweetheart, I'll be back with Aspen soon" I say, walking away.

"Love you too, dad," she replied. Now to get Aspen, clear up any s**t going on in her head, then I want the f*****g kiss I should have had twice today but got f*****g interrupted both times. This time no one is getting in my damn way.
