Chapter 6 Dad was already home when I got back. When I’d gotten into his Tundra, the mystery of how he’d driven there had been solved. A gun. He’d used the butt of a shotgun to hit the petals. Jesus! How stupid could a person be? My anger increased. But, when I walked in, I didn’t say a word. We’d both said too much already. We needed a cool off period.
