I will fight till my last breath on this bloody battle field." I said looking at my men with courage in my eyes. I was a little amused that my kingdom's alley turned their backs on us, I knew those dirty rats had other plans in mind but they were our only safest bet. Their king was very shady. I will take off his head once I lay my eyes on him.That dimwit, he thinks he can trample upon me just because I am a woman. I shall surely take my revenge. I took a look around me knowing everything was gone and a hundred of my men were fighting but it seemed there was little hope due the difference in numbers between the two nemesis. They had about four hundred men left. I looked at my men and a surge of energy radiated through me. " listen up, we will not accept defeat cause we are warriors and we have trained hard for this particular moment." I said to the soldiers who were around me trying to fight off the enemies. They seemed lost and there was a slight chance we might lose this battle. I never lose battles, am Queen Diana of Henephia. I refuse to lose at all costs. Instantly they begun to fight with all their might and I knew they were trying as much as possible. Hours passed and I knew some of my men we tired and others injured but we still had to fight. Others whose was too serious was sent to our base where we took care of injured soldiers. I knew my men were doing their best and we were improving. I fought as I saw the enemies numbers started decreasing. Oh thank God. I knew back in Henephia, the throne was empty cause I had to face this fight myself, but I trust my chancellors. They have proven their worth to me over the years. I had to focus and stop thinking, my arms felt heavy and my body was giving up but I had to fight. Several hours later we were done with the war. It was over, I heard my men rejoicing. Victory was ours, but I had to do one thing. I have to kill the king of our enemies. I walked straight to where their king was. My men strapped him to a tree with both his hands tired. "You, you shall face my wrath" I said in detest. "Oh queen Diana of Henephia what a great pleasure to meet you in such a wretched place. What would a fine lady of yourself be doing here?" He said in a smug way. "You are really shallow for a king." I said with a smirk. "let's do this quick" I said holding my sword to his throat. I did not flinch while I split his throat in half, taking of his head. I believe women have more to them than society thinks. I am a woman of freedom and independence. I do not want to be bound to a man and be labeled so therefore I decide to rebel against the society and the way they think and go about things. I need no one's validation only mine. I looked at his cold bloody body with zero expression on my face. " burn it" I told one of my men. I began to fall down and I felt my life slipping away. It turns out I was poisoned. But when? Oh I remember, during the battle. But I do not regret my life decisions. I will accept my fate but what if... What if I was in a world where I could live a simple life with peace? I would really appreciate that. I had a lot of thoughts in my head as I felt weak and unable to move. I could hear my men panicking. These men have been through a lot with me through thick and thin. I wish them all the best. I would like to see a resemblance in them in the people I might meet in my next life if there is even a next one. Me the mighty Queen Diana who conquered the nine Esthecian brothers of the nine mounts, became queen at the age of fourteen, conquered the mesterian hills and fought against forty different kingdoms, dying? In some way it sounds hilarious to me.All what i did on this earth, all for nothing but power. I hope I impacted lives.
