1.first impression

Angel's POV

Today is first day of college and I am getting late,oh god why does this always happens with me.okay well I still have an hour left with me .I can do this ,yes ,you can make it in time angel.

well you must be thinking what happened so let me introduce myself - I am angel William ,19 year old from a middle class family and recently we have shifted to a new country and today is my first day at my new college but I am late.

"sweety ! are you up ? you are getting late." that's my mom Monica William.

"I am up mom. I will down soon"

In the Ryder mansion

"young master, please calm down"

"young master , please listen to my explanation." the young maid pleaded who was in reality a rich spoiled girl Jena Watson and had disguised herself as a maid in order to seduce Sky Ryder .

"oh really ! you can explain?" sky questioned in an annoyed way .He hated people like her to guts, people who doesn't have a self respect and even sell themselves for money.

she is the only daughter of Watson family and this is the idea she came up with to protect their company from going bankrupt ie.marrying sky Ryder like hell.

"Sky look at me , I am beautiful, elegant and classy , everything the daughter in law of Ryder family should be. this idea is a win win situation ! don't you think so?" Jena questioned while flaunting her curvaceous body . making Sky almost throw up in disgust.

Sky's POV

"Get out" I yell making Jena flinch in fear .she can't even stand my single yell and yet she want to be with me for lifetime ? hah! so funny ?.

I am sky Ryder and I hate the Idea of marriage ,it reminds me of prison ,where people are forced to be together even if they hate each other to guts and do things they don't believe in the first place.like my family ,I don't know if those people can be actually called my family.

the only sane person around me is my grandmother ,she is the reason I know what family warmth is .she is cute , loving and the only person who can boss me around and knows me the best.

"son! what is wrong ?" a melodious voice broke the chain of my thoughts and she is none other than my grandmother.

"grandma ,Mrs.Ryder has crossed line this time .she is trying to get me married to Jena ." I explain my reason to her softly.

"son,I just got to know what happened . don't worry I will talk to her . although she is right about thinking of your marriage but the girl is not suitable." she tells me lovingly but I all my mind is able to register is that she agrees with the idea of my marriage.

"Grandma how can you support Mrs.Ryder in this case when you know how much I hate the idea of marriage." I exclaim almost yelling.

"son, I do not support her idea ,I support your happiness."

"son, all marriages are not same.okay now ,we will talk about this later, let's go down and have breakfast." she says holding my hand and dragging me down with her.

the breakfast table is the same as usual only my grandmother interacting and rest of us answering and ignoring each others presence .

After breakfast Mr and Mrs Ryder leave for their respective works and I after greeting my grandmother leave for Ryder Empire.

Angel's POV

finally I have reached my college on time.Now it's time to find Asher .Asher is my best friend ,we have been together since childhood and we are inseparable.when people see us they usually confuse us for couples but we know the truth.

"BF !" I yell over the crowd after spotting him with a bunch of wanabee girls.

"finally" he says walking towards me before crushing me with his hug followed by a forehead kiss .

"You are late fairy."he says to me while addressing me with the nickname he gave me when we were four.

"sorry Ash, my alarm went off" I say while giving him a puppy look that I know he can't resist forgiving.

"Okay,Okay.lets head to our class." he says while moving forward towards our class and I follow up.

our classroom is no different from the college corridor that is noisy and full of people.

our first day went pretty well in comparison to my expectations and at the end of the day we parted our ways to go home.i was busy in my imagery world when a crowd on roadside caught my attention. I make my way through the crowd towards the centre of attraction.i am shocked to know that there is a old Grandma unconscious on the road .I rush to her side and try to wake her up and then dial the emergency number. the team came within 15min and took grandmother with them and I accompanied her just in case they need any help.

In the hospital

"the patient is alright, it was just a heatstroke." the doctor said with a professional smile on.

"can I meet her know ?" I ask him politely to which he nods and asks the nurse to show me the way .

as soon as I enter the ward I saw the grandmother bickering with the nurse about the juice she is giving her as it is taste is not fresh.i smile to myself at the sight of such childish behaviour from an adult.

"Hello grandmother ,i am angel William ,and I brought you here . sorry for the juice though ,I will get you a fresh one on our way back to make up for that." I say while giving her a friendly smile.but I must say the grandmother is too adorable.

Grandmother's POV

this girl is beautiful ,just like her name ,such peaceful and gentle smile.

"Hello young girl, thank you so much for bringing me here and no need for another juice.i am Julianne Ryder." I introduce myself to the young girl.

"Really nice to meet you ,Mrs.Ryder."

"oh my child , please call me grandma ,you are just like my grandchild." I don't know why but it feels she is really a kind soul. And I am a little curious about her.

"okay grandma " "grandma is their anyone i should inform about your situation from your friend or family?" she inquired in her melodious voice.i gave it a thought and then a great idea crossed my mind and i asked with curiosity ."how old are you angel?" I can tell that she is taken aback by my question but after regaining her composure she answered with hesitation "umm.i am 19 year old grandma." that's great i say in my mind and then tell her "dear, don't mind me I was asking just out of curiosity and to answer your question before I would be grateful if you could help me contact my grandson ."

" sure grandma,do you have his number?"

"yes ,dear it's in a dairy in my bag."after that she scans the room till she spot my bag and bring it to my side and I go through my bag and give sky's contact number to her .After that she dial the number and it is picked up after afew ring and we hear my dear son sky's clear voice as the phone is on speaker

"Hello. who's this?"

"son!"loud and clear for him to recognise my voice.

"grandma ! where are you?whose number is this ?are you alright?" my grandson asks a series of questions in a worried tone probably worried about my safety.but before I could answer ,angel tries to calm him down

" Mr.Ryder you don't have to worry your grandma is alright now ,but she is in city hospital now because she suffered heatstroke and fainted in the market.i am Angel William and I brought her here .and I will accompany her on her way back to home too so don't worry."

"thank you so much, Ms. William ,but I can't stay calm until I see my grandma with my own eye ,so I am on my way to the hospital and I will just bother you to look after my grandma for awhile ,if it's alright ?"

well I guess the fate is on my side .it great that I don't have to make efforts for there first meeting .

few moments later

the door my ward open come in my dashing grandchild.

"grandma are you okay?"he asked the first as soon as he spots me and sit on the stool near my bed while holding my hand and all this brings a smile on face .

"I am alright son! I told you already on the phone.well now that you are here let me introduce you to my savior Ms.Angel William." I tell my grandson in order to divert his attention to angel who standing from couch she was on seated on before in daze,I guess .ha ha ha!

Angel's POV

Razor sharp nose,fair skin , black hair combed backward, muscular body with broad shoulders and height just perfect.ocean like blue eyes filled with warmth for grandma but the second they leave grandma face they become eyes with grilling gaze, enough to freeze even the warmest of heart at glance. IS THIS GUY FOR REAL! my mind just can't process such a perfect and still a little imperfect person in front of me .

"Ms. William ?" Mr. Ryder calls for me but I am too busy in describing him to my mind to respond and end up just standing in daze in front of him.

"Umm Ms.William ?are you alright?" he asks again to which I finally respond .

"umm, sorry Mr.Ryder .I am alright . were you saying anything." I say politely to cover up my rude behaviour minutes ago .

"I just wanted to thank you Ms.william for looking after my grandma and taking her to the hospital for me.is there I anything I can do for you to return the favor?"Mr.Ryder finally speaks after a long pause and at the end I think I saw a feeble smile but it quickly disappear before I could take a second glance.and there is a look in his eyes that I can decipher.

"No worries Mr.Ryder it was was my responsibility as young to help the elder and one in need.i don't need anything ,I just hope grandma will be fine in the future." I say smiling to which Mr.Ryder nods

"well you are here,so I will take my leave now Mr.Ryder ,I family must be waiting for me." I say smiling.

"umm.you can leave and thank you so much for today again and here this is my card ,the number in the right corner is mine you can contact me in case you need any help for me .I owe you one."Mr.Ryder states sternly and hands me his card and something in his commanding tone make me accept the card without any further comments. After the I go to grandma and give her a friendly hug and ask her to take care .just as I am about to leave grandma asks me to be friends with her on f*******: and I happily agree to that. after that I leave the ward straight to find myself a taxi without glancing at Mr.Ryder.

in angel's room

finally I am done with my homework. oh yeah! Mr.Ryder I remember he gave me his card ,let me take a look.oh so Mr.Ryder's first name is sky .well it suits him well as he looks as vast and deep as a sky I say smiling to myself .

take a deep breath angel what are you thinking.

well lets search him on f*******:. OH MY GOD!

HE IS SKY RYDER ! the sky Ryder , the CEO of Ryder Empire. well now I know why he had an outstanding charm.?well lucky me to meet such an outstanding talent in person.

well good night to me now. and slowly I drifted off to sleep ?
