2.A different vibe

sky's POV

few days later...

"grandma,I am leaving for the party."I inform my grandma with a kiss on her forehead and take my suit jacket to leave for so-called party.

these parties are nothing but I a place full of double faced and filthy rich brats with no dignity ,full of arrogance and loud music ?.Its funny how I describe these people but in reality when I deal with them I probably become a part of them to get what I want .I am no god but I don't like any minute of it too. the only person that I am true with is my grandma .she is getting old day by day and although I want to spend time with her but I can't neglect my work too.

Grandma fainted a few days ago in the market but thanks to that responsible girl for helping her.i can't thank her enough ,even when she was young herself and was on her way to home ,she still took the pain to help grandma selflessly which is very rare to see nowadays . Grandma really like her ,she has been talking about her and showing me her feeds from her f*******: page.i smile to myself remembering the time I met her in person.

"Mr.Ryder wellcome to party , enjoy yourself sir." the valet greets me while gesturing me to hand him the car keys to which I nod and hand in the keys.

as I enter I meet with my secretary Nick Davies .he is of my age and very hardworking , although he joined with me but still we are not that close only work related talks takes place between us as he is an introvert and I am not to nosy in his business.But when it comes to work we have great tactic understanding.

"sir ,there you are. I have been waiting." he informs

"let's go in ."I say and move forward.

Nick bring few clients to me and we discuss business and make a few toast here and there.

by the time we leave,I am tired of girls throwing themselves on me .I have lost count of how many girls I have rejected for tonight and now I am frustrated.

Nick drives me back while I was sitting in back seat,I can't help but compare those girl with the girl I met in the hospital. Girl in the hospital I smile to myself while thinking how lost she was when she first saw me.

and always smiling innocently while talking.her action,words were all little strange to me because that was the first time I saw a girl being

normal in front of me .

what was her name again while searching my memory for her name I glance sideward to find the girl I was thinking about and immediately her name surfaces on my mind -ANGEL!

ANGEL WILLIAM!

As we stop at the red light I realise she is riding a bicycle and smiling and laughing , enjoying the wind .

as I was smiling ,my smile turned in to frown because she has fallen from the bicycle.

"sir,is there anything wrong?" Nick asks snapping me back to reality .

"nothing,just a minute." I answer as I am about to get down from my car.but suddenly I stop when I saw a boy running towards her

The scout down and pulls angel up with him and check for injuries .

my frown deepens when I saw the boy scolding angel and when I turn towards angel to see her smiling .then suddenly i realise that why am I giving so much attention to them ,they might be girlfriend and boyfriend.

then I turn my attention to Nick..

"let's go,Nick ."

"okay sir"

......

"grandma ,I am home"

"grandma, where are you?"

I call her till I finally found her in her room watching her favourite daily soap.

I smile when I saw how immersed she is in watching tv .

"grandma ,I am home" I call while laying down on her lap.

"son ,when did you come in?"

"when you were busy with tv"I answer with a slight chuckle?

"oh! how was your day? did you met someone special?" she inquired smiling and winked at the last sentence.

I laughed

"It was boring as usual and no I didn't met anyone."

"ooh,too bad ! but you know angel's birthday is near ...its on umm..yeah 20 Jan"she informs.

I smiled

"okay grandma noted?! but she is injured now."I say and watch a smile turning frown on grandma's face.

"what happened to her?"

"she fell from her bicycle."

"oh! but wait how do you know this son?"

" I saw her falling when I was waiting at red light."

"hmm.did you help her?"

"Umm...no she had her boyfriend with her." and surprisingly this thought is making me sad somehow..what is wrong with me!.

" boyfriend!! I didn't know she had a boyfriend."

" grandma you only met her once "I said while chuckling.

" well now I will go to bed.good night grandma"..I said and gave her a forehead kiss before getting up.

"good night son" she says back smiling.

Angel's POV

"Ash! stop scolding me already .look I am hurt." I say while showing him my scratches to get his pity .

" okay , okay .let's go home now fairy and you are not allowed to ride your bicycle till your birthday now. are we clear?"

" but ash its not that big deal"I plead showing my twinkle eyes.

"no buts fairy "he ordered sternly

"okay" I say finally giving up.

we reach home and ash complained to my parents as expected and my dad Samuel William agree with my punishment decided by ash ..so now no bicycle ?

2 days later

it's finally my birthday !!! yeah!!

just as I am about to get out of my bed ash and my parents burst into my room singing happy birthday ,with balloons ,gifts and cake in their hands.And I smile thanking God for giving me so loving and caring people in this life...

" make a wish fairy " ash said prompting me to make a wish.

I close my eyes and wished for healthy and prosperous life of my parents ,ash and his family,and finally grandma Ryder and her grandson. and blow ?️ the candles.

"May God bless you our lovely daughter with lots of happiness,we love you " says my parents.

"I love you too mom dad" after that I am crushed by a bear hug from my parents and next ash.

"well let's go to college now shall we" ash says

and I smile

" I will be done in a minute".
