3.Birthday celebration 🥳

Ryder mansion

"Son ,look is this good?"Grandma asks sky. they are in a jewellery store in one of their malls searching for a gifts for angel for past 2 hours but non of them is satisfied with what is shown to them .

"grandma ,I think we should look somewhere else now." sky annouces authoritatively show the staff that he is getting dissatisfied here.

" no,no, Mr.Ryder you should look for our special edition pendant ." says the manager panicking

" then what you waiting for?" sky roars .

and at last they saw the special pendant and sky chose as soon as he lays eye on a black pendant with a red heart in the middle.

“pack this one!" sky says without even realising and then when he realises his reaction he turns towards his grandmother and asks..

“grandma , should we look more? do you want to buy something for yourself?"

grandmother replies smiling“ you have made the right choice son"

but somehow for sky it felt like his grandmother was referring to something else and the smile was different as if indicating something.

but sky kept his thoughts to himself and stood up smiling and said “lets go grandma" and took her hand.

After they left the store the staff finally released the breathe they have been holding in since the ceo Sky Ryder entered the store.

IN THE CAR

Nick asks “where to sir?"

sky asks grandma before replying to Nick

“ grandma shall we go home or do want to go somewhere else?"

grandma smiles , wheel are spining in her mind thought sky

“what is it grandma?" sky asks again

“lets go to angel's college ." replies grandma

“grandma it's not right to go her college without informing her" says sky in a convincing tone.

“but we can't go her home and what's the use of buying a gift if we can't give it " says grandma in a sulking tone like a child .how can I deny her now thought sky and take a deep sigh and tell Nick “ angel's college it is." “ are we happy now ?" he asks his grandmother who is beaming now.and smiles.

in the college

"finally ! I am done with my last class."Angel says while closing the door of her locker .

she turns and leave the college gate to wait for ash at their meeting spot so they can leave together.

"5 minutes more ash if you are not here by then , I will leave on my own okay.bye" says angel and hang up later to wait for her best friend who is late as he is busy with someone he thinks might be his Mrs Ash .

when angel feel the heat is too much she turns and look for shade and spots grandma she meet before with someone near the college gate as if waiting for someone .

Angel thinks -should she go and greet or let her be after all now she knows they are not normal people they are THE RYDERS. but then she thinks it's okay it's just grandma and not the CEO right.and goes to greet her.

Angel's POV

I froze on my place when I realise that someone standing with grandma was not just someone but the CEO SKY RYDER.

Ooh s**t I can't turn around now as grandma had already noticed me and Is waving at me now.

wow! just great ! now sky is looking at me to ..wait did I just said sky ...no stupid brain he is Mr.Ryder do you get it.

“hello grandma ! how are you?" I greet grandma as soon as I reach them and grandma replies smiling.

“i am fine Angel , and happy birthday angel god bless you" to which I am both shocked and surprised.

“thankyou so much grandma! and how did you know about my birthday" I asked

“we are f*******: friends angel!did you forgot?"

she says chuckling and I join her until a strong but warm voice disturbed us.

“happy birthday Ms. William!" says Mr. Ryder who I totally forgot to greet.oh god why do I always end up being rude in front of him.

"thankyou Mr Ryder." I say politely smiling to which he just nods.

“are you waiting for someone grandma ? do you need any help in finding any person."I say trying to change the topic .

“we were looking for a Angel ,can you help us?"says sky looking at me so innocently and with a tiny smile ...yes I saw his smile .but is he referring to me?

“Your Angel is in front of you Mr.Ryder." I replied smiling without even realising what I just said and to whom I said.then it clicked me that he must be thinking that I am flirting with him...OOO noooooo

He looked shocked for a second and was about to reply when ash came over and hugged me from behind and was muttering sorry for being late ..I look up and saw a frown on sky's face.he must be thinking wrong about me. ..

“ash it's okay , and look I am talking to someone here so give me a minute." I said to ash wo finally sees the guest and greets them afterwards.

and before I could say anything sky says

“we came here to give you your birthday gift Ms.William ,I hope you like it ...and we will take our leave since you have company " sky finishes and hands me the bags and without waiting for my response take grandma to sit in the car.

grandma says bye to me through window and the car dashes off. I stand still there processing what actually happened.

“what the hell is wrong with that guy huh?" bringing me out of my trance.

“what do you mean?” asking him to know if he noticed anything.

“i don't know why but he was throwing dagger stares at me."he replies shrugging while walking forward.

now I am even more confused I thought sighing..
