My Lost Destiny

Monday was a brand new day for all the students as the school year began. Gilbert woke up early as he was so excited about the first day of the class. He was enrolled at Bicol University, where he had been dreaming of this school since he was elementary. He started his morning routine as he prayed first. After that, he brushed his teeth, washed his face and, after that, he went to the kitchen and had some breakfast. His parents have been separated since he was in elementary. He was staying with his mother since his father's already a second family. Gilbert is somewhat of an introverted person who doesn't have fun hanging out with friends or family. He's also not a fan of sports, since he hates them so much. But, somehow, he is very talented when it comes to music and playing some instruments. He is also a smart student who's always at the top of the class. Gilbert was already seventeen years old, and at his young age, he never experienced having a girlfriend. He is always focused on his studies. While he was eating his breakfast, his mom told him to hurry up as the time went faster. He really needed to hurry up since it was his first day at the university. He took his bath and packed all of his things and went down to the house. While he was on his way to school, he felt so nervous as he looked at himself in the mirror of his mom's car. He was already at the front of the university, he saw lots of students running towards the gate. He was so amazed by the actions of those students. He told himself, "Are they in a hurry"?, then slowly laughed. When he was in the corridor of his classroom, he was still at the stage of nervousness. He walked and suddenly a girl who was running like a horse bumped him and everything was slowly stopped. He is mad at a girl because his phone fell to the ground. He was so shocked by the girl. He asked the girl, "are you crazy"?, or blind? Then, the girl just smiled at him and ran to her classroom. Gilbert was in a bad mood during that time while he was walking towards his classroom. The girl's name is Alexandra. She was sixteen years old. She lived on McKinley Street near the village where Gilbert was living. She's a kinda weirdo student, who's always wearing eyeglasses. Alexandra is a simple student with a high ambition in life. She was also a top-notcher at her previous school. She's so lousy at her actions. Alexandra was living a simple life with her parents. Her parents were farmers and they had a simple life compared to Gilbert. She is also an introvert who doesn't have fun having friends, but she's simply more into reading books. As the bells ring, Gilbert proceeds to his classroom. He was so shocked and frustrated when he saw the face of that girl who'd made his morning so bad. There's no vacant seat but only near the Alexandra chair. Gilbert had no choice but instead to sit behind Alexandra. Alexandra didn't expect that. She approached Gilbert and made an apology. Gilbert ignored it and simply put his bag down and sat down. Alexandra didn't understand why Gilbert did not accept her apology. Ms. Cruz was approaching, their adviser. (Students greetings to Ms. Cruz), Good morning ma'am. Ms. Cruz just smiled at them. Then she introduced herself to the class and after that she wanted all her students to introduce themselves in front. Everyone started to introduce themselves. During Gilbert's time, someone told him, "are you okay men?", And (laugh at him). He didn't bother himself with those reactions, but instead he introduced himself to the class. Alexandra was laughing as he thought Gilbert was making a joke and everyone was looking at him. She just simply said, "sorry guys", and then Gilbert went back to his seat. When it was Alexandra's time, she quickly moved forward and then introduced herself to the class and some of her classmates told him, "you're so cute", and Alexandra just smiled at them as if she was feeling it was true. Gilbert was already starting to get bored. Alexandra went to her chair and slowly asked Gilbert, do you find me cute?".
