Her innocence and His coldness

Sara, the youngest princess of the Armenian kingdom, wakes up while her maids move off the curtains and sunrays fall on her sweet innocent face. She heard bird chirping and one of her maids calling her out. Housemaid: 'Princess it's time to get up'. Sara slowly moved her body and began to stretch her hands. She hummed a little bit and rubbing her eyes she said, 'Oh Juli can't you just let me sleep for 5 more minutes? ' (pouting like a baby) Juli: 'Princess Happy birthday. Today is your 18th birthday. Did you forget?' (patting her head) Sara: 'Awww I forgot. Where are my mom and dad? ' ( looking at the door) Juli: 'Umm princess. They are busy. Once you go downstairs, you can see them. Come on now, get up, you need to get ready.' Sara felt pain because her parents never wished her on time for her birthday. In fact, they merely remembers her birthday. They always used to focus on their kingdom and make a plot against other kingdom. Leaving a big sigh from her mouth, Sara started doing her mourning routine. Soon she arrived at the dining table where her whole family was having breakfast. Her father noticed her and gave her a normal happy birthday wish. Others also joined in this simple wish. Sara sat on the chair beside her sister-in-law, Stacy, who never admired Sara due to her kindness. Stacy always thought that Sara did everything for the poor to impress the king and inherit the kingdom. Sara was generous, she could never see her father torturing the slaves. Sometimes she used to sneak into the slave ceils and gave them food which she stole from the kitchen. At present Sara began to eat her breakfast like others. Everyone was eating silently. After breakfast, Sara's father gathered everyone's attention by making sound using glass and spoon. Anis (Sara's father): 'So everyone here knows that my daughter turned 18 today. Now I, as her father, announce her marriage to the great king of Albania Kingdom. ' As soon as the announcement ended, her family began to clap for her and congratulated her. But Sara didn't want to get married. After that, he told her to come near. She stood infront of him. Anis : ' My princess, what are your thoughts about this marriage? ' (Holding her in his chest) Sara didn't have the courage to talk back with her father and still managed to utter a few words whereas was immediately paused by his father's sentence. Sara: ' Dad I don't want to get married now. ' Anis narrowed his eyebrows. Anis: ' Daughter you know I hate rejection. So now you need to get married to the king only then our kingdom will become more powerful. Understand? ' Sara already knew about this. Her father never gave importance to anyone's words. He did whatever he wanted. Sara : (murmured in a low voice) 'As your wish father.' Everyone in the kingdom started to celebrate as their loving princess was going to marry off. On the other hand, Sara became depressed. She never thought of marrying someone without knowing or loving him. Some days passed, Sara slowly lost weight and her face also started to sink in her skin. Anis pov If Sara keeps losing her beauty in this way, the Albanian king won't accept her. He found a way to calm her down. Sara's weakness is torture. She can never see someone getting abused infront of her. Now this is the only way left to pacify her not to decrease her beauty standards like this. Sara's pov When I was immersed in my sorrow, a maid came up and informed me that my father wanted to meet me in the slave chamber. I followed her and soon discovered my father. The maid left me asap I reached there. Steadily, I went into the room and found my father standing infront of 5 slaves who were wearing dog shackles and also their hands were tied sitting on their knees. Anis : 'Oh my dear daughter Sara. Come here, my baby. ' ( Right after noticing Sara, her father walked toward her.) Sara, my princess. Look at them. ( pointing at the slave) Did you like them? I'm gonna give you them as a servant at your wedding. This is an extra gift for you. My dear. ' Sara didn't pay ahead to her father's sentence. She was staring at the slaves who were badly injured. It looked like a beast tried to tear them up. Unknowingly, Sara's eyes filled with tears. Anis discovered her overflowing tears. He smirked and moved back to get a pot. Anis : 'But my girl don't you think they are too good looking. They don't even deserve to have skin, let alone be handsome. So I decided to ruin their face with this.' He showed the pot which was filled with hot water. It made Sara weaken and fall on her knees. Her tears started to flow instantly. Sara : ' Please Dad. Don't do that. I beg you. ' A princess begged infront of her father for some normal slaves. Isn't this incredible? Anis did this on purpose to control Sara. Anis : ' If you don't want them to get tortured, then you need to take care of yourself. I don't want the great king to reject you for becoming ugly. Don't forget to pamper yourself in order to save their life. ' Sara nodded her head in approval. Anis left the place and the slaves were also taken away. In this whole time, one of the slave had pay ahead to their conversation. His mind melted. And now he decided to invade this kingdom not just for ruling but also for marrying Sara. Anis confirmed that Sara's wedding was going to take place in a month. All the arrangement began and the whole kingdom joined in this happiness.. In the meantime, Sara got the news that one of the slave succeeded to run away. She felt a relax for no reason. Slowly days started to went away. At last Sara's wedding day came when a great disaster happened.
