"Amber get to my office now"...  Chris demands over the phone. My boss, he is not a bad person just have a very different way of doing things.   "Sir can we please reschedule i have a meeting with our new clients, this is our first meeting after 3 months of delegation"... I reply with a calm voice, getting my things ready for my meeting.  "Amber!! get this clear you will be in my office in 5 minutes, I will not tolerate your behavior." The call was ended and i knew something is not right. I gather my files, straighten my dress and make my way to Chris. My thoughts drift to the sudden behavior of Chris. Why after all this time, me busting myself  to get this meeting, will he insist i need to meet with him, I clearly told him this meeting is 100% crucial.  As i approach the office, I stop and ask Lilly, this is Chris Personal assistant, to please make sure the boardroom is set up fully and ready to go. To greet our Guest and please inform them that i will be with them as soon as I'm done with Chris. I Knock on the door and hear Chris say to enter. My eyes land on Chris as i step inside, something is very wrong he is not his usual sophistication. This is going to be long, but i cant shake the feeling I shouldn't be there. "Sir" I say in a calm voice.   "Amber, do you know what you have done, the agony you have put me through" he demands with this absolute icy voice, more a cruel toneless voice.  "Sir, I'm don't know what your talking about, please explain, i need to be in a meeting soon" Chris stands up from his desk, he looks messy today like he was up all night, he smells too.  This cant be good if he looks and smells this bad. He stands still for a moment at his large office windows running from top to bottom of the floor, suddenly he strolls towards me. "Amber for 5 years you've been our rock in this company everyone is always praising you." He tells me "Thank you Sir, is this conversation fit for now as i have a very important meeting to attend with Geo Industries." "Aaaa Yes the Company you tried getting on board for 3 months" Chris replies "Yes, and if I'm not in that meeting we will loose the business, so please can you get this done, whatever this is, so i can go do my work." He laughs and stood still behind me, i can feel him.  I need to stay calm i have no idea what this is about but I'm sure ill find out soon enough.  "you've done this to me, i cant sleep anymore i think of you even when I'm with my wife, you with your smiles and happy spirit" His voice in my ear. "Amber you will give me what I want or you will carry the consequences of your answer.  Suddenly i realize what this is, i need to stay calm. I knew my feelings where right. I stand up with determination, with pride and i look Chris in the eyes and say "What do you want from me, I've given everything to this company, what?" He walks towards me and places his fingers on my arm sliding the finger towards my wrist. Tilting his head towards the side, having this smirk smile.  "Amber, I've seen how you look at me and you will have me and you will give me what i need and my wife will not know or you will loose more than your job, you have been good to me lets make it official, of the record" Chris states with his hand slowly going to hold my wrist. "Don't touch me, and i will make like this conversation never happened, I have never done anything to make you believe i wanted something more I've done my job and I'm good at it, so no i will not be giving you what you demand, you are my boss and lets keep it like that, now if you don't mind i have a meeting to attend, i will excuse you at the meeting because of your poor hygiene today." I firmly state walking to the door trying to get out.  "No one tells me No, and i do mind you attending that meeting" Chris says grabbing my wrist and pulling me towards him so hard that it feels like my bones are breaking, he smells like alcohol, not shaven, and he is pressing himself on me, my hands held behind my back with one hand and the other arm crushing me against him. I have to get out i cant see this again, fight Amber, i tell myself, Fight. In that one moment i stepped on his left foot with my heals and as soon as he let go of my arm i made a run for the door in the process my shoes came off, i really couldn't care right now, with shoes in hand. I'm shaking, my body in pain and my head hurts. I'm running past Lilly at the door, realizing just what happened, i just keep going straight to the stairs i cant be here not now.. "You go, ill sort everything out" Lilly shouts behind me  I'm starting to have tears, how could this happen, My breath is heavy and I'm starting to hyperventilate. Running down the stairs i don't realize the people coming up and down.  "Amber your cellphone and bag" Lilly shouts from the top of the stair.   I look up and suddenly  i crash into this wall, wait no its a person. "I'm sorry, please i need to leave please move" then i look up at Lilly "Ill get it from you please just keep it, i need to go now".."  What about the meeting Amber" Lilly ask with such concern. "Do what you need to Lilly, I'm done" Looking back again this giant wall is still looking at me intensely then my eyes move up and see his intense look.  Please not this to i think to myself. "Please, do you mind i really need to go, oh never mind i will just go around" i say  with a trembled voice, starting to move to the side to go around just to find this man standing to the side letting me go on my way.
