Sam never got to finish the movie.
We waited outside the OR, Kate sniffing sadly beside me, Dexter leaning against the wall, their heads hung low and silent. We waited in silence, the only sound the noise just down the hallway.
Finally someone barged through the doors from the lobby, and it revealed her mom's small frame beside her new husband, Philip Greene. Her eyes were tear streaked, her nose reddish in a sense, and her cheeks stained with the obvious sign of crying.
“Where is she?” Louisa Greene cried, shaking her head. “Where's Sam?”
And at that moment, the door opened and the doctor came out, his hand a bloody mess, the mask still on his face, his glasses foggy a little bit, and clear sweat drops on his face were visible. He had a deep dejected look on his face.
