Chapter Nineteen- 50 Shades

Chapter Nineteen- Noel "We're moving?" I ask while the family eats dinner. Dax had some big business meeting, so it's just Teagan and the rest of us. It's hard to process what he just told us. Teagan bought us a house. It's not a down payment or a plan. He bought it for the listed price and now it's his. I don't understand rich people. What could he possibly need that much money for? "I don't want to go to a new school. I like my teacher." Julian complains. The other kids are at the small table considering none of them really care, but we all know how much stuff like this bothers Julian. He frowns and uses his fork to push his food around on his plate. "Same here. It would suck moving right when sophomore year starts." Frankie adds. Sawyer shakes his head and smiles at us. "You'll be in the same school district." Even if they get to go to the same school, I'll have to drive an extra 10 minutes anytime I want to see Dax or go to the club which happens to be my job. "Well it's farther from where Dax lives. And the club which is my job if you forgot." "You'd get your own room." He negotiates, making me perk up. I'm 18 years old and I have never had my own room before. even when I was a baby I had to share a room with Candace and as we got older and hit puberty, Candace didn't want to share a room with me because I'm a boy, so I had to stay in the room with Will and Frankie for a while and then Sawyer bought this house and I still have to share with Will. I'd get a whole room to myself. I can decorate how I want and play whatever music I want and I won't have to argue over who gets to use the bathroom first and I can have s*x with my boyfriend without worrying about Will walking in. "Okay. I'm in." I agree. 10 minutes is worth it. Dax could even spend the night sometimes. "What about the rest of us?" Frankie asks, pouting as if he wants his own room too. "Teagan actually bought the house, so he can tell you about the room situation." "Right." Teagan says, starting to explain. "The biggest room is for Sawyer and I and I did the rest based on oldest to youngest. Noel and Candace both get their own rooms. Will, Frankie, and Julian get their own rooms too. Cameron and Carter would share a room. Lottie and Carson would share a room, and we'd have a nursery for Alistair." Julian pouts and glares at his plate. He can be unpredictable when it comes to how he reacts to things, but I can't see why he'd be mad about getting his own room. "How come Teagan gets to decide? He's not our dad, and it doesn't seem fair that we have to listen to him anyway-" Sawyer glares at him. "Well, according to the law, I'm your dad, and since Teagan is my boyfriend, and I respect his opinion, I'm choosing to listen to what he thinks about the situation. I don't really care if you think it's fair or not, because after all the s**t he's done for you guys, the least you can do is listen to him and be respectful. Got it?" It was definitely a bit harsh, but I can see where he's coming from. Teagan has been in our lives since Julian was just a toddler and he's done a lot for us. It makes sense for us to respect and listen to him. He hasn't given us any reason not to. Julian looks down at his plate and slowly nods. "I just don't like things changing." Sawyer gets a guilty look on his face and stands to walk over to Julian, putting his arms around him and kissing his forehead. "Everything is going to work out just fine. I promise." "Okay." "Awesome! I'll help pack the little kids stuff when I finish with mine. I can't wait to tell Dax I get my own room!" I squeal, smiling as I stand and run up the stairs. I pull my suitcase out of the closet and start putting my favorite clothes in first while using my phone to call Dax. "Whitlock." He answers with his detached business voice, making me laugh a little. "Grayson." I mock. "Sorry, baby. I should really start checking who's calling before I answer. My meeting just ended. What's up?" "Guess what!" I squeal, practically jumping up and down as I throw my clothes in the bag. "You sound so excited. What happened?" "Teagan bought a house for all of us, and Sawyer said I get my own bedroom!" I tell him, hearing a soft laugh on the other side. "That's what all the excitement is about? Just getting your own room?" I pout and sighs, sitting down on my bed as my excitement deflates. "Well sorry I'm not some rich only child that never had to worry about things like that." "I didn't mean it that way, Noel." "I know how you meant it. You think that getting a bedroom to myself is small and insignificant, but you wouldn't get it. I've never had my own room before. I'm a legal adult and I've never slept in a room alone before." I explain, laying my head on my pillow. "I'm sorry for upsetting you. I know it's important to you. I'll come over to help you pack. How about that?" He tells me. I hear him give his driver instructions before I respond. "That would be nice. I may have offered to help the little kids too in the heat of the moment." I admit, blushing a bit. "That's fine. We can help them as well. Maybe I'll even spend the night." "God, no. Will is having his friend stay over so they'll probably be up all night and he snores so loud." I complain just as Will walks in. "You're no better. You always mess with my stuff and you're so loud when you wake up that I can never sleep in." "Well if you didn't stay up all night then you'd wake up at a normal time. And I wouldn't mess with you stuff if you kept your s**t on your side of the room." I respond, rolling my eyes before hearing Dax speak again. "I'm staying the night. End of discussion." He says before hanging up which makes my jaw drop. I can't believe he just hung up on me. The audacity of this man is absolutely baffling. I should call him back just to curse him out and hang up, but I'd have to be extremely masochistic to do that... which I am, but that's not the point. "You'll catch a fly, Dumbass." Will grumbles, making me glare at him. I close my mouth and sigh. "Shut up. When is Theo coming over? I'm serious about you guys staying up. Dax has meetings tomorrow." "We'll probably sleep in the living room and play video games and stuff. You and Dax can have this room to yourselves, but don't have s*x in here. It's disgusting when I come back and it smells like sweat and testosterone." Will complains. "Tell that to Dax. I can't exactly turn him down." "Why not? Because he's your boss?" "No. Because he's my Master." Will tilts his head and looks confused for a moment before turning to grab his things. "I don't know what you mean." "I'm a submissive and he's my dominant, so I choose to listen to and obey him. It's the same with Teagan and Sawyer. You never walked in on them before?" I ask. He turned to me again with red cheeks. "Well yeah I've walked in, but I didn't watch or even look really." He sighs and sits on his bed before giving me a serious look. "That's like in that movie, right? 50 shades? You guys do that gross s**t where you get tied up or something? D-Does he like... hit you? I mean Teagan seems like a good guy, but I didn't know he was hurting Sawyer." "That movie is toxic and is nothing like how it really is. It's not abuse. Before you start complaining, I just want you to know that. Everything a dom does to a sub is only with the sub's full consent. It's never forced or coerced. Dax wouldn't lay a finger on me if it wasn't what I wanted." I explain, getting more of my clothes to pack more. "You should really just search it. I'm still pretty new so I'm not very good at explaining it. It's not abuse though. Dax treats me good, and I'm happy." He still seems skeptical, but he sighs and nods before starting to pack the rest of his things. "Alright. Whatever you say." After a little while, Dax comes into the room. He looks pretty sexy in his suit, but I can see that he's stressed. "Hi, Master." I hum, walking to wrap my arms around his neck and lean up to peck his lips. He smiles a bit before glancing at Will and then back to me. "Oh I told him. It's too much of a hassle to call you Sir." "Right... well, it's good to see you, William." He says, sticking his hand out, offering to shake Will's. "I'd rather not, Christian Grey." Will mutters, zipping his bag up. "Call him that again and I'll f*****g punch you, you little shit." I threaten, making Dax look at me with a shocked expression. "It's fine, baby." "It's not fine! He can't just be a d**k to you because he's too childish and small minded to understand." I complain, glaring at Will who rolls his eyes at me. Dax leans down to peck my lips before petting my hair gently. "I don't care. It doesn't matter. Though, you really shouldn't go around telling children about our s*x life." "I'm not a child." Will corrects him, making Dax laugh a little bit. "How old are you." "Age is just a number." "And you're just too young to worry about b**m anyway. Don't worry. It's not like Noel and I would do anything here." "We aren't?" I whine as Dax takes his suit jacket off before loosening his tie. "Of course not. I wouldn't want you to wake up the kids by screaming too loud." "Ew! TMI." Will complains, grabbing his bag before making his way downstairs. I laugh and turn to Dax with a raised brow. "You're in trouble, big guy. I should punish you." Dax's eyes darken, making me smirk. He walks towards me, and I don't move. I let him reach his hand out to wrap around my neck and pull me closer. It doesn't bother me at all. I actually enjoy it. It's a reminder that he's the one who has control even when I pretend that I am. "Oh really? And what exactly did I do?" He asks, tightening his grip a bit. I moan softly and reach up to put my hand over his. I don't try to pull it away or anything. I wonder how far I can push him. "You hung up on me. I should tie you to the bed and tease you until you promise to be a good boy for me." He tightens his grip more and pushes me so that my back is pinned to the wall. "You're pushing it, Noel." "Am I?" I ask, feigning innocence. "One more smart ass comment and I'll start your strikes, got it?" "Aye aye captain." "Strike one." I bite my lip and pout slightly. Dax laughs a bit and leans down to capture my lips in a heated kiss. He pushes his tongue in my mouth and they move in sync for a moment before we pull apart, a string of saliva still connecting us. "That wiped your smirk off pretty easily. Don't you forget who's in charge here, baby." I nod obediently and we finish packing my more important things up in my suitcase. It's the only one I have so we'll have to make a few trips to get everything to the new house. It seems like everyone else had packed what they could as well since Teagan helped with the little kids. "Do you guys want to watch a movie?" Teagan asks us. Only Frankie, William, Candace, and I are still awake, so we're all in the living room. Dax is sitting on the couch, leaning into the corner a bit, and I'm on his lap with my feet propped up on Candace's lap. She's right next to Teagan who is playing with Sawyer's hair while he sits on the floor in between Teagan's knees. Will and Frankie are both sitting in the two seater. "What movie?" I ask. "50 shades of grey seems fitting." William answers, making Sawyer turn to me with a glare. "Seriously? You can't just keep your mouth shut?" He snaps at me, making me roll my eyes. "Oh please, you act like all of us haven't walked in on you and Teagan. Last time I walked in you were tied to the bed getting railed, so don't pretend that everyone didn't already know." I grumble, pouting while I lay my head on Dax's chest. "What happens in our private life is none of your concern, and even though you're with Dax now, you have no place bringing that up. Disrespect someone's privacy again, and I'll ground you." Teagan threatens, making me glare at him and huff. "I'm an adult." Teagan glares right back. "Then act like one." "God, you can be such a d**k sometimes." I mutter underneath my breath. Dax squeezes my thigh slightly, getting my attention before saying, "Strike two." "I didn't even do anything." "Don't argue." "But-" "Wanna make it 3?" I cross my arms over my chest and turn away from him before rolling my eyes. I'm allowed to disrespect Teagan all I want while we're here. Here he's just Sawyer's boyfriend, so it shouldn't matter, but Dax doesn't seem to think so. "Can you teach me how to do that, Dax? I can never get him to shut up." Will jokes. Frankie ignores us and starts a conversation with Candace and Sawyer while looking through the movies on TV. I'm glad they aren't paying attention because it gives me an excuse to be vulgar. "We'll, first you'd need a giant d**k-" Dax covers my mouth with his hand and kisses the back of my shoulder while laughing a bit. "I can get him to do what I want because he views me as someone who is dominant over him. He listens to me because he wants to. I don't force him to do anything that he doesn't want to do. Though, if he breaks my rules then I punish him. I can only punish him with his permission though, so all in all, any power I have over him is power that he gave to me and can take back at any point." I'm surprised to see Will actually listening to him and trying to comprehend what he said. I see his cheeks get red, making me raise a brow though I don't say anything. I wonder if he's interested in it. Sure he likes girls, but it's pretty much the same thing. Candace isn't even the slightest bit interested in being a sub or a dom, but Will seems to think about it differently. "Uh... how hard is it to be a... whatever you are?" Will asks. I bite my lip to keep in any comment while Dax answers. "It's a decent amount of work to train yourself in different things, but as far as being dominant over your partner, it's not that difficult. All that really matters is that both you and your partner are safe and comfortable." "Where would you learn that stuff?" "There are clubs and even some bars where you can meet people who will teach lessons like at my club, but you're too young for that now. You could start by googling different things and doing your own research, but I'm not going to recommend doing anything at your age." "You're not doing anything like that until you're an adult, Will." Sawyer insists once they play the movie and tune into the conversation again. "I know! I was just asking." He whines, laying back on the couch as the movie starts. I should've known that Frankie would convince them to play Ratatouille. We watch it every single time. I turn to look at Dax and smile, leaning closer to lay my head on his chest and press a small kiss to his neck. I'm falling so quickly for him.
