Crescent's POV

732 Words
My feet are hitting the soft ground. I can feel the wind in my hair as I'm running at my top speed. I feel complete, I finally unlocked my true potential. The blood in my veins is boiling like a pot of water. You could probably c***k an egg on my skin and it would cook. “Midnight, I'm coming for you,” I said. I feel stronger than ever. I feel Powerful. No one's gonna stop me or get in my way. I'm making my way quickly to Midnight. I feel scared that I left him for too long. Maybe he thinks I'm dead or maybe he’s de……. No Crescent you can’t think like that. I’m getting closer, I hear midnight's heavy breathing. The smell of rusty red blood in the air, it’s getting stronger. I can see Midnight sitting in the cage, blood dripping down his leg. Even though he’s bleeding out he still looks amazingly handsome. I think I caught his eye. He was shaking his head, almost as if he didn’t want to see me. I finally made it out of the deep dark dartmouth forest. I'm standing, staring at Vulmar. Angry, anguish, bloodthirstiness is taking over and the wolf wants revenge. I can feel my eyes changing to yellow As angry takes over. I yell, “Vulmar, you have something I want! Give him back and I won't hurt you.” Vulmar glares at me and says,” Come back to the castle with me and I will set him free.” “Noo!” I yelled, “This ends here and now. You will have to kill me before I kill you.” Midnight says, “Crescent, no you can’t. I don’t want to lose you” I said, “And I don’t want to lose you! I’ll be ok. I’m stronger than before” As I'm talking to Midnight, Vulmar throws his golden dagger with a blue ribbon at me, but I could feel the wind coming off it as it left his fingers. I turned around and caught it between my palms. The tip of the blade was almost touching my nose. I put it in my hand and threw it back at Vulmar. It hit his left ear, taking a piece off. I pulled out my bo-staff. I swing on him while he’s looking for his sword. I hit him in the shoulder. Vulmar turns around and chopps my bo-staff in half. I climb the tree And get my bow and arrow out. I start shooting from the sky. I got an arrow stuck in his chest, side, and back. He’s trying to climb my tree, so I hopped down and landed on my feet. I put my bow away. I grab my sword. He swings at me. He gets me in the arm but I keep fighting. Fighting harder than ever before. My training has paid off. He strikes me on my side. I fall to the ground, but my wolf doesn't let me down. My wound heals. I get up and strike him in the chest with my foot. He stumbles back, And falls on his knees, Vulmar yells, “ STOP. I YIELD. I can’t keep going like this. Crescent, I’ve been in love with you since the first day I laid eyes on you. I want you to be mine. I won’t hurt you anymore.I can be the reason you die.” I’m flustered. I don’t know what to say. Part of me blushes, The other part is filled with anger. I say, “I will never love you. I'm in love with Midnight. He is my one and only. He’s never hunted me down and tried to drag me back to my father.” Vulmar stands up, getting off his knees. Walks over to Midnight in the cage and chains it shut and throws the keys in the muddy river. Then pushes the cage in the water as it slowly sinks. I scream,”Noooooo. Why did you do that?” Vulmar walks over to me, Grabs my hair and starts to drag me. I fight trying to get free but he hits me in the face. I'm starting to feel dizzy, I'm losing consciousness. The last thing I hear is Midnight Screaming,” NOOO! Don’t take her away. Please, I beg of you. Bring her back. CRESCENT!”
