Watch As The Moon Rises

Prologue Upon a dark, quiet night an Abalonian princess whisked herself way within the calm caress of darkness. Her lavender eyes shone brightly within the darkened time as the crunching of grass was to be the only sound heard. Cries of her past name haunted her as the dark memories gathered in her once optimistic mind. “NightWolf Crescent!” The screech would alarm. “Come back young one! Your father was just a… play thing that didn’t fight back as much as we’d hoped.” She’d retch at the notion before continuing her quiet escape to find the path of quiet creatures that fueled her hunger for adventure and freedom. Waking up with the whispers of wind humming through her ears and soft, luscious locks, her pointed ears would prick towards the slight movements of the whispering grass and laughing flowers. Attempting to stand, the startled female stood on quivering legs as all she remembers was passing out in the ink of night after trailing the clan of elves and dwarfs. Out of the green painted bushes, bright-oceanic blue eyes peeked out from the waving leaves before they softened with a calming gaze. “Hello, young one.” A voice murmured from behind the girl. She whips around with doe eyes; her lavender orbs investigating this cloaked being. “It’s alright.” The voice would laugh. “I’m just like you: an… elf of sorts. May I take your name, ma’lady?” He soon removed his darkened hood, underneath encapsulated in a now summer haze. There he was 6’0ft, an inverted triangle body. Crescent was mesmerized by his abs. His snowy white locks inraptured her sense before she answered his call. She was bewitched by his beauty. “I’m… Moon… Crescent Moon.” Crescent says “what might your name be, handsome?” Midnight says, “M’lady, my name is Wolf…..Midnight Wolf.” That night a friendship began stronger than ever, more meaningful than anything either of them had ever known. That night after meeting they talked and got to know each other better before starting on a journey together. Crescent says, “What are you doing out here? Where are you from?” Midnight answers, after a few moments of thinking, “ I’m from a very small place called Weresville. I’m an orphan, I had to leave this abusive family I was with. So now I'm all alone. Just me, myself, and I.” “Wow, That’s a lot.” Crescent finally says after a pause. Midnight asked, “ Where are you from? Who are you? Why were you running? Crescent thought for a moment that I can't let him find out I'm the princess. He might take me back, but I also don’t want to lie. He could be a great asset in the future. “ I am everyone but no one. I've been everywhere but nowhere. I am Crescent Moon.” Long pause. “Nah, I'm just kidding. I am Crescent Moon. I'm running from an abusive father and I need to travel and get far away” Says Crescent Chuckling to herself. He’s taking so long to answer, was my humor too much. Maybe, I scared him away. Maybe, he’s trying to find the right words to not upset me. Or did he see right through me and know I'm not telling the whole truth. “Wow, That’s…. Um…. ok.” Long pauses. “Well, Would you like to travel the realm with me?” Asked Midnight. After a lot of thinking and trying to decide if it will keep my secret safe. “My answer is yes, I'll travel the realm with you.” Crescent says shyly. Midnight starts walking first and Crescent soon follows, shyly. She’s nervous but needs to escape her past life that haunts her. Crescent is thinking to herself he’s cute. I hope he never finds out the truth; he'll never trust me again. Maybe I should tell him the truth. “Hey……umm… Midnight?” says Crescent. “Yeah?” Midnight says. “I need to tell you the truth…… My full name is Nightwolf Crescent Moon. I ran away from my abusive father, the king of Abalon. He is my dad. I don’t want to be the princess, I wanted to be honest I just hope you still want me?” Crescent said with some sadness and hurt in her voice. Midnight looks at Crescent with hurt in his eyes. Took a long moment to think of a response. Putting his hand out looking at her in the eyes. Midnight says,” Wanna travel the realm with me?” Without skipping a beat. Crescent says, “Yes please.” with the slightest hint of happiness in her tone. In the back of her mind she is relieved. She’s thinking again. He accepted me for me. He still wants me around. Hehe she giggles to herself in her head. What Midnight and Crescent don’t know yet, Is Midnight is going to treat Crescent like she’s never been treated before and Crescent is going to love Midnight in a way he’s never been loved. The two of them were walking down a dark and narrow path. No idea where they are heading, just one foot in front of the other. Then out of nowhere Crescent screams and bam she’s gone. “Crescent? Crescent! This isn’t funny, where are you?” Midnight says with fear and anger in his voice. No answer nothing but silence for miles. It’s dark and the moon is at its apex in the sky just a tad bit of light was showing through, c***k! A twig broke Midnight was scared as he’s been in the same spot for a while now.
