My therapy
The melody, the strum of the guitar, the lovely voice, and the good view are definitely my favorite today. After all, it's my birthday, and this place is one of the most beautiful I've visited. I turned off my headphones when someone tapped on my headphones.
"C'mon, Kryra, it's your birthday. Why are you alone and sitting like you don't care about anyone?" Kej said.
"Kej, you know me. It's my biggest dream to come here, and look" - I pointed to the nice view - "it's amazing. I already entertained them before, so can you please not disturb me?" Anyways, fine. Just wait for me outside, and I'll go down. I'll change my clothes first.
He smiled and left my room.
We're in New Zealand celebrating my birthday with Kej's family, since he and I are childhood best friends, and our families are partners in business. There are also some of my relatives, friends, and other classmates here.
As I go down, they're busy talking and partying, so I think, "What am I going to do here, right?" Instead of getting annoyed with them, I prefer to listen to a song until the sun goes down. I pick up a glass of juice and come to the balcony, embracing the winds that are touching my face and the humming of the birds.
