AVA

"Ava" the name I was given by her late father William ,it was one of great sentimental value because it reminded me of unconditional love and care my parents had for their only daughter but of course now I had no time to reminisce the events of the past , as I was eager to hide from the monster tailing behind me. I kept running and running until I could no longer feel the movement of my legs in darkness of the night. Deep in my mind I hoped that I would make it to wherever I was heading to even though I had no idea . I kept running while stealing a few glances behind me and I realised that it was gone . Halting by a nearby tree and catching my breath I realised that the environment was too quiet . I turned around trying to scan for any recognition of my whereabouts, to my suprise I was greeted by sharp fangs finding their way to my bare neck but all I could do was scream and close my eyes accepting my fate. "Dammit , Ava this is the fourth time" I was greeted by sound of my aunt Marina's voice as her face displayed full concern .All I could do was look at her eyes with horror while she hugged me for comfort. Ever since my parents died I moved in with Marina , since I was only ten when it happened she became my legal guardian . To be honest I loved living with her because she loved me like her own , she was family after all. At times like these I really did wonder how it would feel to be with my real parents ,yes it does sound a little selfish but I really did miss them alot and fate never hesitates to play it's role . "You know I don't do it on purpose right" I said sighing . These nightmares had been scaring the crap out of me lately and happiness seemed to wearing away slowly but I wouldn't let a bad dream ruin my day before it even started. "I know " Marina said patting my head while a small smile formed on her lips. "Now get ready for school " she said getting up from my bed and escaping through the door . I closed my eyes counting to ten while letting my breath adjust back to normal . The warm drops of the shower seemed to wash away the worry that had been creeping up to me , the water had become a great stress coping mechanism for me during the past few months. After my shower I brushed my teeth and did my hair, settling my dark brown hair for a messy bun and perfect edges. My heavy eye bags were becoming more visible by each passing day , possibly alerting every breathing soul about my bad sleeping routine. I opened my closet fishing for the perfect outfit to mask my current mood , Wich was slightly was slightly tight black boyfriend Jeans , a violet v neck line crop top , a butterfly necklace with matching earrings and violet sneakers . I headed downstairs for breakfast and then to the bus stop .
