Kerry hurried across the floor. Two plates in hand as the bell over the door rang. “Have a seat anywhere you like. I’ll be right with you,” she called as she delivered the order to the patrons it belonged to. She checked in with a couple of other tables, then delivered a menu to the man who had just come in. He was a stranger. She didn’t think she’d ever seen him before, not even just around town. “Can I get you anything to drink?” she asked. The man glanced at the bar and looked through impossibly long lashes. “Give me a beer, something local.” “Can do,” she said moving away. “I’ll give you a moment with a menu.” She grabbed a couple other drinks, checked in with a couple other patrons and delivered the beer to the new man. “Are you ready to order or do you need a few more minutes
