Lurch made sure all the men were doing what they should be and wondered how long until he trusted them to do what they’d been told without his having to check up on them. He hoped it wouldn’t be too long, but with how badly Stretch and Ghost got along, he always felt like he had to check on them if they were working on the same job.
That would be over soon though. Stretch would be returning to Tucson with most of the crew that had brought his things up. That was supposed to happen tomorrow, but with trouble brewing with the Cobras, Lurch wasn’t sure if they should send them back quite yet.
He didn’t know if it was some sixth sense or paranoia that made him want to keep the extra men here in case the Cobras did more than just follow people. He’d talk to Tuck about that today, but not righ
