Chase POV I felt guilty. Sage had been unwell, she'd fainted for heaven's sake and I had let her go home alone, with nothing but a security person as company. I was a terrible husband, I thought to myself, shaking my head. It didn't matter that my wife had insisted she would be fine, I still felt terrible for not accompanying her home. Wilson could read me like an open book. "Chase, I'm sure she's going to be fine" he sighed. "Why don't you call her if you're worried?" he suggested, glancing at the clock and giving me a crooked grin. It wasn't a bad idea. I grabbed my cell phone and then pressed Sage's name under contacts. Her cell phone began to ring on the other side and I waited with anticipation for her to pickup. But the phone rang and rang until, eventually, it went to voicemail.
