chapter 1-Episode 1
Raily, a female warrior in modern times in the Philippines, specifically in Bataan, is a kind and cheerful individual. Being an adopted child, she shares a unique connection with her elder brother, Richard. However, Richard's perception of her is different due to their father's favoritism, which has made him complacent.
One day, while walking through the quiet forests, the siblings found an opportunity to have a heartfelt conversation. Raily inquired about the rumors regarding the offer for her to become the new leader of R.D.B, a society of warriors. The position comes with wealth and power, but it also carries danger and concerns for her safety. She would have to face formidable opponents and adversaries.
Raily: Kuya, have we talked about the news I heard regarding the position in R.D.B?
Richard: Yes, I've heard it too. And it looks like we'll soon find out who our father chooses.
Raily: (with concern) Kuya, haven't you considered that there might be ulterior motives behind this position?
Richard: (firmly) Raily, haven't you thought that this could be a great opportunity for us? It's a chance we shouldn't let slip away.
Raily: But kuya, this position comes with danger. I don't want us or the people in our community to be harmed.
Richard: (getting agitated) This opportunity is not something anyone would pass up. The future of our family's success lies in your hands.
Raily: (pausing) Kuya, I'm not asking for this position to be given to me. I don't want power that could bring harm.
Richard: (holding his ground) You need to accept this responsibility, Raily. I am the one who should lead R.D.B.
Raily: (protesting) But kuya, this is not what I want. This is not my goal as a warrior.
Richard: (warning) Raily, this is what's best for our future. Don't forget that I am your brother and I have the right experience for these matters.
Raily: (with determination) Kuya, this is not the way. We shouldn't be fighting over power and wealth.
Richard: (controlling his temper) Raily, I won't allow this position to go to someone else. I should be the leader, and that's a decision our father has made.
Raily: (angrily) Kuya, this is not just about you or me. This is about the people in our community who need protection and justice.
Richard: (threatening) Raily, maybe you haven't understood the weight of these responsibilities yet.
Raily: (angrily resolute) Kuya, I won't shy away from a battle if needed. This is a fight for truth and for the principles I believe in.
Richard: (angrier) If that's what you want to do, Raily, I'm ready to show who's truly strong.
Between the siblings, emotions run high. Their views and ambitions clash, putting their bond as siblings and warriors to the test.
But Raily doesn't know that his brother has sinister plans and intends to take over different areas in Bataan, ending their father's life. One day, their father discovers his brother's plan and decides that Raily should be the one to inherit his responsibilities. During a meeting, their father reveals this to Raily, but he doesn't mention Richard's plan because he is his son. Richard becomes angry and threatens to end Raily's life."
Raily: (concerned) Dad, I've been thinking about the news I heard regarding the position in R.D.B. It's been bothering me.
Father: (calmly) I understand your concerns, Raily. It's a big responsibility.
Raily: (hesitant) Dad, do you think Kuya Richard has good intentions for taking up that position?
Father: (pausing) Raily, there are certain things you need to know. Richard has plans, but not necessarily ones that benefit the community.
Raily: (shocked) What do you mean, Dad?
Father: (sighing) Richard intends to expand his influence to other areas in Bataan. He's planning something dangerous, something that could even harm me.
Raily: (worried) Dad, what should we do?
Father: (decisive) Raily, I've thought about this carefully. I believe you're the one who should take on this role. You have a strong sense of justice and empathy for the community.
Raily: (surprised) But, Dad, why didn't you tell me about Kuya Richard's plans?
Father: (sadly) He's my son too, Raily. I couldn't bring myself to reveal his intentions. I had hoped he would change.
Raily: (determined) Dad, I won't let his plans succeed. I'll do whatever it takes to protect our community and your legacy.
Later, in another confrontation:
Richard: (angry) Raily, how dare you agree to take on that position?!
Raily: (firmly) Kuya Richard, I've learned the truth about your plans. I won't let you harm our community or our father.
Richard: (threatening) You think you can stop me, little sister? I'll eliminate anyone who stands in my way.
Raily: (defiant) I won't let your thirst for power destroy everything we stand for. Our father's legacy deserves better.
Richard: (seething) If you think you can challenge me, Raily, be prepared for the consequences.
Raily: (unyielding) I won't back down, Kuya Richard. This is a fight for justice, and I won't let you destroy what our family represents.
Richard: (snarling) You'll regret this, Raily.
[Richard storms off, his anger evident in his every step.]
Raily: (watching him leave, resolute) I won't let fear guide my actions. Our community's safety is my priority.
[As Richard walks away with a mix of anger and determination, Raily remains firm in her resolve to protect her family and community.]
After a few days, Richard talked to someone to end his father's life. This person was a man named Reign, an X warrior assassin who was being paid to terminate anyone. Richard and Reign discussed their plan to kill his father.
Richard: (whispering) Reign, I need your expertise for a delicate matter.
Reign: (steely) What do you want, Richard?
Richard: (scheming) I need someone taken care of. Someone close to me.
Reign: (raising an eyebrow) Close to you? Family?
Richard: (nodding) Yes, my own father. He's become an obstacle to my plans.
Reign: (calmly) I see. And what do you propose?
Richard: (confiding) I've prepared a plan. He usually takes his evening walks by the cliffs. I want it to look like an accident.
Reign: (assessing) Accidents are tricky. They can attract attention.
Richard: (smirking) That's where your expertise comes in. Make it discreet, but ensure there's no trace back to me.
Reign: (nodding) Fine, but it'll cost you.
Richard: (eager) Money is no issue. Once he's out of the picture, I'll be able to seize control without any hindrance.
Reign: (coldly) Just remember, once it's done, there's no turning back.
Richard: (confident) I understand. As long as the job is done, that's all that matters.
[Richard and Reign continue discussing their plan to eliminate Richard's father, with a chilling air of determination hanging over their conversation.]
Richard returned to their house, and now it was dinner time. Raily and their family invited him to join them, but he ignored the invitation and gave Raily a hostile look. Richard was still preoccupied with his father's refusal to make him the heir of R.D.B., choosing Raily as the successor instead.
Raily: (gentle) Kuya Richard, please, come and join us for dinner.
Richard: (ignoring her, giving Raily an angry look) ...
Raily: (concerned) Kuya, are you still upset? Please talk to us.
Richard: (sighing, his mind elsewhere) ...
Raily: (softly) We're here to support each other, Kuya. It's not easy for any of us.
Richard: (muttering to himself) I can't believe Father chose you over me... the rightful heir to R.D.B.
Raily: (tentatively) Kuya, I didn't ask for this role. But if it's what our father believed in, I'll do my best.
Richard: (angry) He didn't even give me a chance to prove myself!
Raily: (compassionate) Maybe he saw something in me, in my approach to leadership.
Richard: (frustrated) I've been preparing for this my whole life, and now it's all slipping away.
Raily: (sympathetic) Kuya, I understand your feelings, but let's find a way to work together for our family's sake.
Richard: (softening) It's not that simple, Raily. There's more at play here than you know.
Raily: (resolute) Whatever it is, we're siblings. Let's face it together.
[The strained conversation reveals Richard's internal struggle, highlighting the complexity of their situation and the challenge of reconciling their differences.]
