Hunter’s Father's House

I walked into Hunter’s father's house, which was a separate building located behind the roasted pork restaurant. Hunter led me upstairs toward his bedroom.
He told me his father had closed the shop today for a fishing trip with friends. His father once told me he goes out to sea with his buddies twice a month.
Hunter really did take me to the doctor just like he said he would. I couldn't argue with him; every time I tried to open my mouth, he gave me such a stern, fierce look that I went quiet.
"Look at that face," Hunter murmured, leaning down to kiss my cheek. I had been scowling at him because he kept using that bossy, intimidating tone.
"Lie down and wait for me. I’m going to make you some porridge." Hunter set my bag and the medicine we got
