Chapter 10

Ruiz Marie De Vega's POV

Drake and I continued kissing each other, and I'm also carried away by the sensation caused by Drake's kisses.

Drake did not want to stop what he was doing to me, however, someone is knocking on the door and calling Drake as if the person outside the office was not sure if Drake is inside of his office.

"President Monteverde, are you inside? I just want to deliver this document that you need to sign." The person outside the office informs Drake.

Suddenly, after hearing the person outside, that is the time I realize what we had done and I came back to my senses.

My eyes widen and I suddenly push Drake and he falls to the floor.

"Oh, my gosh! S-sorry Drake, I didn't mean it. Sorry, sorry." I said sorry because I did not intentionally do that to him. I was just shocked to hear that there was someone outside.

Drake's fall made some noise, that's why the person outside the office immediately opened the door and her eyes widened when she saw Drake was sitting on the floor.

"My gosh! President! What happened to you? Why are you on the floor?" The woman shouts in shock.

She was about to come near Drake but suddenly, I immediately took Drake's hands to stand up. And the woman's eyes got even wider because she didn't expect that I was also here.

Drake held my hand and he slowly stood up while wearing a faint smile.

And when he finally stood straight, he slightly came near me and said in a low voice.

"You, silly. I will punish you again later." He whispered to me.

I also noticed that the woman was trying to say something but she did not continue talking because she didn't know what to say.

"Y-you…?" The woman stuttered.

The woman was indeed Sally Mendez. She was working in the Accounting Department, and I also heard that she had a crush on the CEO of this company and that it was Drake Monteverde.

When Sally regains her senses, she arches her eyebrows and looks at me angrily. As if, she wants me to eat alive.

She was standing in front of us while she was holding the document that she needed to deliver to Drake.

However, Her gaze turned to Drake and her attention diverted when Drake started to talk.

"Miss Mendez, kindly put the Document on my table and after that, you can go," Drake commanded Sally but his eyes were on me while he was saying those words.

When I looked at Sally again, I saw that she was somewhat disappointed and was about to say something.

"But… I…" she sigh and said, "O-okay, Mr. President."

Sally managed to walk towards Drake's table and put the papers on it, and after that, she turned around to look at where Drake was standing earlier. But suddenly, Drake and I were already seated on the sofa.

Drake was not minding her because his eyes were busy on the phone that beeped earlier.

I think someone messages him. He read it now and he replied to it.

Sally once looked at me murderously and murmured something before she left Drake's office.

I did not hear what she said because only she could hear what she said, and I did not want to mind her either.

When Sally is finally not around, I plan to go out of his office also because I have a lot of work to do on my table, but Drake disturbed me earlier.

I looked slightly at where Drake was seated and I saw him still busy on his phone. I stood up slowly and was about to walk towards the door when suddenly, I heard a baritone voice ringing in the room.

"And where do you think you're going, honey?" Drake asked me seriously.

I forced myself to stop walking and turned around to look at Drake to say something. However, he was still looking at his phone.

"How did he know that I was going out if he didn't look in my direction and was still busy on his phone?" I talk to myself.

Finally, he was done with his phone. He put it back in his pocket and looked at me meaningfully.

I arch my eyebrows because I have a lot of work to do and yet, he did not want me to go.

"Mr. Drake, if you wouldn't mind, I have a lot of work to do. So, I need to go back to my table now so that I can finish it early, okay." I replied to him.

Drake didn't say anything. He stood up and managed to walk near me.

As soon as he came near me, he immediately held my chin and his other hand was holding my waist too before he talked to me.

"Okay, do your work first honey, but later, you come with me. We will have a date, honey." He said and gave me a smacking kiss on my lips three times before he let me go.

My heart seems to come out of my rib cage because of the romantic feelings I feel now.

I feel shuddered at what he told me just now. Like duh!

"My gosh! Is this true? Did Drake invite me to have a date with him? Oh, my! This is my first time having a date! Gosh! I can't believe it." I whispered in my mind.

I did not notice that my face was already like a tomato because of the excitement I feel now. And I did not notice that I was already smiling at him without noticing my actions.

Drake looked at me when he noticed my actions. He even teased me because of the reaction he sees in me.

"Oh, it looks like you really like my kiss, honey. Because your smile says it all." Drake teases me.

When I came back to myself, I immediately turned around because I felt embarrassed in front of him.

I walked fast without turning around to Drake and left his office. I even heard him laugh before I closed the door of the office.

I let out a sigh when I was totally outside of his office.

"My gosh, Ruiz! What are you doing? You even know that you are fascinated by what Drake said to you!" I scolded myself.

I shook my head first before I started to walk towards my table and when I reached it, I sat down immediately and started my work.

Drake was seriously courting me, and he did everything just to let me feel his love for me…
