Khason A wave of panic hit me. But…it wasn’t mine. My eyes flicked open, and it took me more than a few seconds to fully process what I was seeing. We were surrounded by six large male wolves, three in fur, three in skin. Definitely not rogues by the look of their clothes and demeanour. In fact, any rogues near us seemed to have vanished. The camp was still and quiet, not another wolf in sight. The two males nearest me I could take out easily enough before even standing fully.
