Unknown Pov:

I dressed in black tuxedo and stepped out of my car late in the night. I was already late for my visit but I had to do the best I can to look handsome.

Accompanied by Five of men, I walked into a building and straight to the counter.

“I am here to see her”

“Mr Gabriel” the nurse couldn't utter like she had a stroke.

“Is she sleeping?” I asked but instead she ran away in the next minute she was back with the doctor.

“Mr Gabriel, what a pleasant surprise” the doctor.

“How is my visit a surprise when I visit by this time of the year”

It wasn't the first time I had visited the hospital.

“Is she sleeping, I know I am a bit late but could you wake her up from me?” I requested.

“You didnt get my message, did you?” He asked.

“What message?”

“I had sent you a message about a month ago, Lilian did you send it?” he turned to the nurse.

“Huh?” she replied in shock.

I looked at them like a bunch of maniacs and made my way in. Walking past each demented patient, I suddenly stopped at a room. I could see a young girl staring at the blank wall. I moved closer to see her and she turned her face to me. Her face was peeled off and looked ugly, her eyes on the other hand were the only thing that was beautiful.

She looked at me like she was mumbling some words,

“Help me”

It was what every patient said so I didn't bother to decipher what she said.

“Mr Gabriel”

“Isn't she too young to be in here?” I asked.

“She is a special case, her guardian demanded that she never leaves here” the doctor informed sucking up to me like he had committed a wrong.

“There is a slight issue Mr Gabriel” he said.

“Move” I pushed him out of my way and went to room 55. I opened the door and found out that it was unlocked.

“Why is this?” I was about asking when my instincts told me to walk in.

“Where is she?” I yelled at him in a fit of rage.

“That is what I was trying to tell you for a week now, she escaped with a male staff and we have not found them till now” Yhe doctor said almost crying.

I grabbed him by his shirt pulling him up, for a man of short stature he was easy to lift.

“You are telling me that she escaped, I kept her in your care, I paid you money to treat her and keep her here yet you let her escape. Not alone but with a male staff right under your very nose”

“Please Sir, it is not out fault” he pleaded.

“Then whose fault is it?, mind for entrusting her in your care. I gave you a simple job but you could not do it” I stated.

“We have the police searching for her and I am certain that she will be found” he assured me but his words felt like nothing to me, if she was able to escape then they would be unable to find her afterall keeping her was quite hard.

“She will be found in no time” he added.

“Oh really” I laughed.

“Yes sir” he said with tears rolling down his ears, he knew very well not to mess with me but he did.

“Let me help you hasten it”

I dropped him down and one of the men pushing him to the table. He kept his right hand on the table.

“Which finger” I asked him.

“Huh?”

“Cut the pinky finger” I ordered.

“No sir, please sir. We will find her. You have to trust me” he pleaded.

“It is not that I don't trust you, I did and that was why I entrusted her to your care, now that you have broken that trust I will like you to know what it is like to be on my bad side.

Cut the pinky finger”

I ordered and his finger was chopped off before he could resist. He cried out in pain and fell to the ground.

“This is just the beginning, I am giving you ten days to find her but for each day you don't find her, I will have one of your fingers chopped off and when I am done with your fingers then I will move to your toes and if by then you have not found her then I will cut off your head from your body and dumb your body at your house for your family to see” I warned him.

He grabbed onto my legs staining me with his bleeding hand,

“Please Sir, please have mercy upon me”

I kicked him off me and walked out of the room.

I happen to stop by the room earlier but the girl was gone. It was not my duty to find her so I walked away into my car. I was damn furious to be worried about another person. Who ever the girl was, it was their responsibility to find her and not mine. All I care about was her being brought back to me otherwise the hospital would be in flames.

I arrived back at my mansion and slammed the car door after me in a rage. If only I had kept her by my side then she would never have left me.

I began to regret my decision.

“Boss, what are we gonna do?” Luther, my closest confidant asked me.

“I want you and some men to find her, check out what the police have on her. Any leads could actually lead us to finding her, just do your best to find her.

I can't lose her” I informed him.

“Yes boss, I will have the men get ready” he said and I got assured. I trusted him more than anyone and knew that he would never let me down.

“And do it quietly, I don't want him to know otherwise he will try to find her as well. Make sure the search is discrete and doesnt raise any suspicions”

“Yes Boss”

I made hasty steps into my mansion when I heard a call.

“Hey, stop there” one of my men yelled.

I turned back to a figure in the dark dressed in a white robe. She turned back to look at my men then she took to her heels immediately running to the gate.

I stood there waiting for them to bring her to me which they did in a minute, the gate was sealed shut so there was no where she could run to.

“Put me down” she kept on screaming being carried by Luther to me.

Luther pressed her down to her knees in front of me.

“How did she get in here?” I asked surprised that a young girl like her would have the guts to break into my house.

“She came out of the boot of the car” he informed me.

“What?”

“Who are you?” I asked and she raised up her head to me, it was easy to recognize her because of her peeled off face.

“You are the girl from the hospital” I muttered and she nodded her head.

“Take her back, I am not going to be responsible for another abnormal patient” I turned my back to her when I felt a pull to my leg.

“Please don't send me back there” she pleaded. Her voice was soft and angelic, it reminded me a lot of her.

“You are not welcome here” I uttered. It was dangerous for a girl like her to be with me.

“Please I beg you”

“What are you waiting for, take her back” I ordered my men and they tried taking her off me but her grip on my leg was strong that I almost fell.

“Please, I will do anything you want me to do, I can be anything you want me to be but please don't send me back there” She pleaded more.

My thoughts were battling with each other, I did need a female working with me but was she really up to the task.

“You were put in that place for a reason” I said to her.

She shook her head and held my tighter,

“I am perfectly okay”

“That is what they all say” I scoffed.

“I can swear to you that I am okay, they put me there so that they can silence me. I am normal”.

I squatted down in front of her,

“Why should I listen to you?”

“Because...”

She was lost of what to say to me.

“Please, I will do anything” she pleaded instead.

Staring into her blue eyes was enough for me to change my mind, I had never been so convinced to keep a person just because their eyes were enticing. Most of my victims who have pleaded for mercy, they always had fear in their eyes but her was different. She wasn't scared of me, I could see hatred in her eyed but not towards me.

“Lock her up in a room and feed her each day, she looks skinny” I ordered and one my men picked her up to a room.

“Boss, are you really going to let her stay here” Luther asked surprised that I was taking a girl under my wing for the first time.

“Yes, she is one of us now” I replied and climbed up the stairs to my room.

Returns back to know her name and looks into her eyes.
