"What are you doing here, why did you attack Shadow Moon."I asked.
"Oh young Theadora- "
I growled angrily and punched Embry,"Don't call me that! My parents were the only ones who could!"
He spit some blood,"But they aren't here, are they?"
"Why is that?" I asked sarcastically.
He chuckled, "It's been what, eleven years? You got let go sweetheart."
I growled, "You were god damned lucky you mate was Delta descendant when we met, but if you don't start tell me why are you here I'll be sure you can't walk for the rest of your life."
"Oh Thea, don't be that way. "
I growled again,"Stop stalling, start talking."
He chuckled,"Since you asked so nicely." He said sarcastically, "Remember when I helped kill your parents - "
I cracked my knuckles and with one blow I knocked him out .
I threw the door open and Caspian looked surprised, "What!?" I snapped.
"Calm down, Thea." He said and placed his hands on my shoulder.
"H-he," I stuttered in frustration,"He is the one who lead the rogue attack that killed my parents!" I shouted.
"Shhhh," He tried soothing me. I wrapped my arms around myself, trying to hold it together,"Come on, let's get out of here." He said and we went back the pack house .
"That little piece of sh¡t was the only one who got away for murdering my parents Caspian, and I- " I said and stopped talking as a sob escaped me.
He had his arms around me the next second,"Shh, calm down, Thea."He soothed.
"Theadora." I told him,"We promised no more secrets and I was a hypocrite. " I said and leaned my forehead on his chest.
"It's okay, you didn't have to -"
"I want to." I said and I slipped out of his arms and lead him to the bed,"I promised I would be open and I trust you with my life Caspian. . . I was ten when we were attacked, my parents and I were on a picnic my the big oak tree and we didn't have enough time to get me to the pack house safe room,so they told me to climb the tree and keep quiet. My dad was killed first and then my mom, but it was Embry who killed her knowing their daughter was watching. "
He pressed me close to his chest,"I'm sorry. " He murmured.
"When I was sixteen, the pack was called to help a rogue attack in a neighboring pack. The rogues were destroyed, but not before James and I got a hold of a prisoner, the same asshole who murdered my parents. Embry by then was mated to the daughter of the Knight Pack Delta, so I couldn't do anything to him because his crime was under their pack laws. So we traded him for a treaty, saying no wars would ever sprout between Knight Pack and Silver Moon. "
"So all along, you couldn't do anything about it ."
I nodded,"I'm such a hypocrite." I muttered.
He shook his head,"No, Thea, you weren't. I owed it to you. "
"Theadora." I said, pointing out I never told him my full name.
"If Thea is what you want, I'll call you Thea. Sweetheart, I don't care."
I smirked, "Thanks Casper."
He chuckled.
"But I'm still frustrated with the whole women and fighting deal."
He sighed, "Until they can beat the men, they can fight." He proposed.
"I can beat them, does that count for anything? " I asked.
"No," He simply said.
"What if tomorrow I fight with you? If I beat you then I can fight next time we get attacked-"
"Not a chance."
I pouted, "You didn't let me finish."
"Nothing will make me change my mind, Thea, until all the girls are good to fight then no, you will not fight."He said .
I frowned, "If you win I won't fight, but if I win, I'll fight and if the girls are ready,which they probably will be, they'll fight."I proposed.
"What makes you think I'll agree." He asked.
I stood up and got out of his hold,"Don't test me, Caspian, I know ways to hurt you without a touch. "
"Which are?"
I shrugged,"While you figure it about, I'll just take a shower, okay?" I said but before he could answer I walked away and began taking off my shirt, leaving me in my red satin bra .
I smiled when I heard a growl behind me,"Thea," He said in a hoarse as he walked towards me.
"No a chance, Shadow Wolf, not a chance."I said.
Suddenly he had his arms around me,"Fine, we'll fight." He said but I dropped to my knees, slipping out of his hold and flipped back to my feet.
"Not tonight, not until you beat me." I said and turned to see him pout, his blue eyes hypnotizing me,"No, no, no, no, no ." I said and rushed to the bathroom before he got a chance to kiss me.
