Chapter 15

A pair of strong, muscular arms were wrapped around my waist and I was sprawled across his naked torso.

Mine. I smiled as I felt his body vibrated with laughter,great, he heard me though our mate link.

"Good morning. " He murmured.

"Good morning." I said.

He kissed my head and said,"How are you today, mia bella ."

"Perfect." I said

"Good ." He said and played with my hair, "You know, I've been think and I think we should present you as my official mate, what do you say?"

"Caspian," I started out and felt him stiffened.

"Thea, I know I've been a bad mate, but I swear I would never -"

"I know you wouldn't, Caspian." I cut him off,"And I'd love to be your Luna."

He smiled,"I love you-"

"ALPHA WERE UNDER ATTACK! ! ! !" Andy shouted from behind the door as he suddenly pounder it. Caspian shot up from the bed, slipping on some clothes as I did too.

"Thea, I need you to go to the safe room-"

"No, I'm going with you."

He growled as anxiety began biting him,"Thea, as my mate you will be targeted. Go. To . The. Safe. Room."

"I'm going with you." I said stubbornly

"I'm not letting the women fight and neither will I be letting you fight . It will make it suspicious. Stay inside, understood?!" He growled .

I grit my teeth,"Fine." I said and added,"But be careful."

He smiled and kissed me hard, brushing a hand over my cheek, "Come on." He said and took my hand and lead me out the room.

Castor was downstairs, leading us into the traffic in the living room as Kyle and Andy viewed a map on the coffee table .

"Alpha, there is a breach in the south eastern area and in the north western." Andy said and Jacklin rushed to me as Caspian went to the map.

"Our troops are already in battle with them,but the attackers are out numbering us."

"Send half of the troops to both sides and then ambush-"

Jacklin then began leading me to the safe room," Wait, I -"

"I'm sorry Thea, but his orders we clear and we don't know what the attackers want or who they are." She told me.

My heart began racing in panic, "O-okay."I said and she opened the basement door and we found ourselves in a large metal room with a set of couches and several beds,"What about the other houses? "I asked since I knew there we several other pack houses other than the main one.

"Every house in the pack has one of these safe rooms, don't worry Thea. Now let's get you something to eat." She said with a yawn and we walked to a crate of food.

A small girl bumped into me,"S-s-sorry Luna. "She stuttered.

I smiled,"I'm okay, where are your parents?" I asked.

"Mommy is in heaven and daddy is fighting." She answered.

I smiled sympathetically, "What's your name?"

"Greta." She answered, "I'm an omega." She added.

I picked her up and Jacklin smiled as she passed me an apple muffin,"You're a Luna by nature. "She praised.

"I'm just trying to calm my nerves. "I told her.

"He will be fine, sweetheart, and happy you care so much about him but don't worry." She said,"He is a deadly fighter."

"That's what I'm afraid of." I said.

AN hour passed and Greta had fallen asleep in my arm, but she was soon taken from me so she could sleep in a bed. My nerves began ticking like a bomb,in sync with the clock on the wall as I counted the seconds .

Tick tock, tick tock.

Natalia seemed enjoyed my discomfort as she viewed me from across the room while she was catching up with the pack gossipers.

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.

I ignored her constant glares and smiles and tried mind linking my mate, but I couldn't reach him. I bounced my leg on the floors and fiddled with my fingers.

Tick tock, tick tock-

"That's it, I can't take it any more." I told Jacklin and stood up, heading upstairs.

Jacklin got a hold of my hand,"He is fine,Thea."She soothed.

I whimpered as my werewolf rose to the surface,"I just need to see for myself, it's been too quiet, please."

"Just wait a one more hour,if he- "

The door unlocked suddenly from the outside, and the clanking of the heavy door echoed through the room,"Thea, get back! "Jacklin hissed.

I obeyed her and stepped back,rushing to the ground as the door slammed open.

"Thea!" Caspian called as his figure appeared at the top of the staircase.

I sighed in relief and rushed to my mated arms,"Casper." I murmured when I felt his arms around my waist,"Are you okay? What happened?"

"I'm okay,Thea." He said and he lead me upstairs as the others reunited with their mates.

"Who were they? Did they hurt anyone? Where is Castor? "I asked, still worried.

"It was the Knight Pack, they didn't hurt anyone and Castor is phasing back." Caspian told me as he stopped to by the staircase and buried his face in my neck,"But I was so worried about you." He murmured.

"So was I, i***t!" I hissed. He straighten up,"Why aren't you letting the females fight?" I asked in a low voice.

"I am, once they get proper training."

I crossed my arms,"So when will that be? We were outnumbered today, weren't we? We-"

"I won't repeat what happened with my father, Thea. The women are going to train and it will probably take them months to be ready."

"But what about me?"

"What about you?"

I frowned," I can't stay down there while my mate might be in danger."

"If you're in battle with me, I'll be distracted because my mate and Luna could die any second." He snapped.

I rose an eyebrow, "You think I'm weak, Shade? "

"No, but you don't know what these wolf could do, Knight Pack is viscous and they wouldn't hesitate to kill you. This isn't like your training sparing, Thea. "

I narrowed my eyes at him and stepped forward, challenging him,"You're underestimating me,Shade, I have fought in wars before and I have killed werewolves that are five times my size. You could ask your brother-in-law cause he's seen me do it. Who do you think killed Alpha Felix from the Yellowstone Pack, who do you think killed the Greenville pack when they went rogue, who do you think?" I hissed.

His eye widen,"Thea-"

"Save it." I growled and asked,"What did Knight Pack want?"

He didn't hesitate,"We're going to find that out, come with me." He said and took my hand and began walking to the underground dungeon. Outside the Pack House there was a small shack and inside the shack was an elevator that lead down to the cells.

"You captured a prisoner. " I asked, but it was more like a statement .

"Yes we did."

"But why do you want me here with you?"

"James did tell me a few things, you know. Some that included your expertise in getting info."

"You want me to interrogate or torture him? I did that once and it was when we had captured one of the rogues that killed my parents."

"Just try."

We stopped by the door and he gestured for me to enter. I walked in and saw a blonde man kneeling down with chains tying him to the ground . The door closed and his head snapped to mine. My heart stopped,speaking of which!

A low growl escaped me,"Embry Cartanova, Delta of the Knight Pack, how did you end up here."

His wrinkled features turned into a wicked smile, and his grey eyes glittered with anger "Well hello Theadora. You have grown so much, you look like your mother. Well, before I killed her."
