The next day we arrived at my old pack house and the first one out to greet up was Eddie.
"Thea!" He called.
"Eddie." I said as I got out of the car and hugged him.
"You big fat liar, you said you didn't find your mate at the Ball!"He accused.
Caspian chuckled as he made his way around his Bugatti, "Was complicated,young man ."
Eddie crossed his arms and frowned his reddish eyebrows at Caspian, "So you're the jackass I heard my cousin cry about -"
"Edward!" I hissed at the only cousin I had, yet the blush was far from inevitable .
"Well, well, well, so she was crying like a little baby bitch." Peter said as he came up behind us.
Has he not seen who my mate is?
Caspian kept his back facing Peter as I groaned and turned to see Peter smiling smugly, "You lucky I can't knock you out right now."I growled.
"Ohhh, I'm so scared, you belong to another pack and probably mated to a low rank-." He shut up as he saw something behind me.
Casper's arm snaked through my waist, "Come again." Casper threatened.
Peter gulped,"Wait -!H-h-h-he . . .Alpha Sh - Shade is - Y-y-your mate?." Peter stuttered, turning white as a ghost.
I nodded,"Yes."
Pretty whimpered, "I thought he was an escort ." He squeaked.
"Well I'm not, and I would draw more respect towards a Luna." Caspian snapped, his Alpha attitude rising.
Peter nodded shakily,"I'm s-so sorry" and ran for the hills.
"THEA!!!"Calypso shrieked as she ran out the front door.
"Hey Calypso, "I said as we turned around to be greeted by her.
"Hello sister." Caspian .
"So wait, are you still going to go by Shade or. . ?"James trailed off as he came out and shook Caspian hand.
"I'm going by Caspian now, James, it's time to get rid of all the misconceptions. "
"I'm glad and I'll be gladly at your service ." James said .
"So you are the Shadow Wolf that James been dead afraid of- " Eddie asked as he walked towards him.
"Shut up, Edward." James chuckled, slightly nervous .
"Was." Caspian corrected him with a smile,"And all those stories you probably heard weren't true."
Eddie shrugged,"You're still cool." He said,"Edward Bills, future Head Fighter of Silver Moon." He added extending his hand to Caspian.
"Caspian Shade, Alpha of Shadow Moon." My mate said as he shook the kid's hand.
But my mind focused on what Eddie had said,"You're going to train for Head Fighter? " I asked .
Eddie nodded,"I am . Or do you want Peter to lead them, then it would be like letting Hitler lead the US army."
"Better get some pointer from her then." James said.
"Yeah, yeah, but not now, Thea, I need you." Calypso said as she jumped in nervousness.
"Oh, you're right. Caspian can you. . . "I asked,jerking my head towards Eddie .
Caspian nodded,"Sure, honey. Eddie do you want to practice with me? "
Eddie's eyes widen,"Hell yeah!" He said and they began walking to the training grounds.
"Hey Caspian, my parents are coming over, you think you guys can stay for dinner?" James said .
"We'd love to." He said back.
"You know, if we had known his mate would make him nice, then I would have shipped you to him ages ago, Thea." James muttered.
I rolled my eyes,"Come on Calypso, we have some work to do."
Once we reached my old room, I noticed all my things were packed and ready to go, saving us time and allowing us to work on the whole 'Mate's parents issues.'
I had arranged Calypso's hair in a bun and dressed her in a formal yet casual black dress. "So what am I supposed to tell them." She asked as I got ready.
"Well they'll be the ones to ask the questions, so just answer them and be polite and funny with your answers. They'll love you." I reassured her,"But Lidia hates anything to do with tattoos or piercings so,please tell me you don't have one. "
"No, not at all."
"Oh, and wait a while to tell them about the baby."
She nodded,"Anything else?"
"Try getting on Marcus' good side, he's a funny guy . "
"Okay. . .you look good, Thea. "She complimented.
I wore one of Calypso's dress, a grey spring dress and was too lazy to do anything with my hair, so I just left it down. "You too."
It was at six that Caspian and Eddie returned to the house. Calypso went to her room so Caspian could shower as I finish my makeup in my old room.
"So my sister called you here so you'd help her with her in-laws?"He asked as he walked out of the shower in the room and walked to the bed to retrieve his dress shirt and jeans.
"Yeah, but I've been wanting to move in with you. " I admitted.
He smiled,"Very noble and sly of you." He said as he got dressed.
I laughed slightly as I said, "I love how you dress formal yet casual, it's hot."
He chuckled, "Checking me out?"
I blushed,"No." But I was,"Yes."
I heard the doorbell ring,"They're here. I'll be downstairs. " I told him and went downstairs just as James open the door.
"Hey son. "Marcus said,"Where is my new daughter. "
"I can believe my son finally has a Luna." Lidia gushed.
I reached the corner and descended with a smile on my face,"Marcus,Lidia." I said and went to hug the closest things I had to an adoptive parents .
"You sound like a rank- Wait, OH MY GODS,Thea you're a Luna- Wait what?" Lidia asked, "Oh My GOD!!"
"I alway knew these two were perfect for each other! "Marcus said with a roar of laughter,"Oh my son, congratulations- "
"We-" James and I started but Lidia cut us off.
"Oh, I can't wait till you have a child, imagine another little James or Thea, oh Marcus-"
"We are NOT MATES!!!"James and I shouted.
"Oh, no thanks." I added.
Just then Calypso walked down stairs, tears in her eyes as she stalked out of these house,"Thanks a lot mom." James said before he ran after Calypso.
"Was that Cassidy Shade?" Marcus asked me.
"Calypso, but yes, that was her." I said.
"So wait a second, if James isn't your mate, then how are you a Luna rank? Who is your mate?" Lidia asked.
Caspian walked downstairs like if on cue,"That would be me, I'm -"
"Alpha Shade!" Marcus said in shock.
"Please, call me Caspian." He said.
"C-C-Caspian ?!!?" Stuttered Lidia,"I thought you didn't let anyone know your real name?"
"I used to, but I have had a change of heart." He said and wrapped an arm around me waist.
"Thank god you're here." I said as I hugged him.
"Calypso!"James said and she stormed back in.
"Nope." She said .
"Sweetheart, wait." Lidia said,"We're sorry for the confusion, but don't take it out on James."
"Let us make it up to you." Marcus said.
"Fine." She sighed and walked towards James who had his arms ready to embrace her.
We ate in the Alpha Dining room and soon the in laws were at peace .
"Bye Calypso, it was so nice meeting you. I can't wait to hold my grandchild . "Lidia said as they were walked out by the Alpha and Luna.
"Good job, son." Marcus told James with a clap on the back.
"It was nice to meet you too. "Calypso said and James took her in an embrace from behind.
"Bye Mom, bye Dad." James said.
Caspian and I smiled and parted our goodbyes,"We need to get going too, and James I'll send you the transfer paperwork for Thea." Caspian said.
James nodded,"I'll get them to you as soon as I can. Bye guys."
We got in the car and Caspian drove us home, my home.
