Chapter 11

Bella…

Life has being amazing these past two years. We all welcomed Victoria with opened arms, as long as she treated Rylie how he deserves, we’re not bothered. She’s a really nice woman when you get to know her. She has the gift of evasion, she can keep herself out of danger, no matter what she will always get away, to me that’s an impressive gift, I wouldn’t mind it myself.

Uncle Edward arrived back home a couple of weeks after Victoria moved in with us, he arrived back home a fresh new man, he had his mate – Sophia, she can see your past if she touches you, pretty amazing, but probably annoying if you can’t control it. Uncle Edward isn’t a prude anymore; in fact he lets out his own jokes and even joins me and dad with our pranks on the rest of the family. It’s amazing to see the difference in him, welcoming even. He doesn’t play his sad depressing songs anymore. Thank god!

Me and Jasper are still struggling to keep our instincts down when were in the lustful moment, but we’re getting there. Slowly. We are all currently living in Detroit, Michigan, we’ve lived here for a year now and we’ve all settled in perfectly, we’re all attending high school including Victoria and Sophia. It’s their first time attending school since their change so there playing as juniors along with Uncle Edward, Rylie and Aunt Alice, while me Jasper, mum and dad are playing as seniors because there’s so many of us we all wear contacts so the humans don’t get suspicious, especially when humans never have gold eyes and instead of buying food and wasting it, Sophia came up with a perfect plan – to put blood into flasks and act as if it’s soup, it doesn’t make us look like we’re starving ourselves, she’s a genius.

“Bells” Dad said trying to get my attention. “Yeah?” I asked him, but I knew what he wanted, and honestly I was giddy. “Let’s nip out” I nodded and jumped on his back. “Wait, I’m coming” Edward interrupted us. “Not a chance Eddie, this is a father and daughter talk” I stuck my tongue out at Uncle Edward, who growled. “Now, now Uncle Eddie” I laughed at the shock on his face, I’ve never called him that. “That’s my girl” Daddy laughed before running out in to the woods.

Their up to something, probably one of their pranks, god help whoever it’s aimed at. When those two get together they come up with the craziest ideas ever, sometimes they don’t always do pranks they ruin the house- for example get their motorbikes on the room and see who can do the most flips in the air. Yeah, you get why we all groan when they ‘nip out’.

“What they up to Edward?” Rose asked him, “He was blocking his thoughts, and like usual I couldn’t get anything from Bella” Everyone looked at Alice, she tried looking to see if she could see anything. “Bella’s blocked them” We all groaned, It’s going to be bad.

“We’re just going to have to be careful” Sophia warned us, she really hates it when she’s the one they aim the prank at, they’ve done some cruel stuff to her bless her. She’s had hair dye put into her shampoo, so she’s walked out of the bathroom with green hair before, along with having holes cut in to her clothes. They have no idea when it’s too far, but if they didn’t do their pranks, things would be boring around here, so it’s our own entertainment.

They arrived back about 3 hours later, with big smiles on their faces, but they didn’t say anything, they just joined in our conversations, like they haven’t being out for 3 hours planning their prank. It’s going to big, whatever it is.

Later that night, I tried to get Bella to spill the beans but she refused big time. No matter what I did to her or didn’t do. We all went to school, still waiting for this prank.

It wasn’t until we all headed to the cafeteria when we realised Bella and Emmett were nowhere to be seen. “Anything yet Aunt Alice?” Rylie asked her. “Nope” She told him popping the ‘p’. Rylie groaned. “Their lethal with their pranks mum, you need to stop them” Rylie told Rose, just loud enough for us vampires.

“I’ll ring Esme, see if she’s at home or the office, see if she knows anything” Edward told us, before getting his phone out.

“Esme, are you at home?” Edward asked her. “No son, I’m at the office. Why?” we heard Esme ask through the phone, we all shook our heads because if Esme found out Emmett and Bella was out absconding from school to put their pranks in to action she will freak. Big time. “Just asking because I didn’t know if you were busy. I’ll let you go” Edward told her before quickly hanging up.

It wasn’t until the end of the day that we realised they didn’t come back. What are they up to? When we arrived back home we walked in to them both playing on their Xbox, arguing about who’s wining and who’s loosing.

“Hi guys” Bella told us without taking her eyes off of the screen. “How was school?” Emmett asked us. “Fine why was you both twagging?” Rose asked hands on hips. “It’s not like I haven’t attended school before mum, you know when I was human I attended every day, so I’m sure it won’t hurt to miss half a day” Bella told her while giving Rose he puppy eyes.

Rose didn’t answer her, she just huffed and sat on the sofa. “I’m going for a shower” Alice told us. I was about a minute later when we heard her scream, we all headed upstairs. Bella and Emmett collapsed on the floor laughing their head off. Alice’s clothes were on the floor with squirty cream all over them.

“What have you done?” Alice screamed looking at Emmett and Bella, but I couldn’t hold it in anymore I was on the floor with Bella and Emmett laughing my head off. It wasn’t long until I ended up projecting and everyone else was on the floor laughing – all except Alice. No Bella had her wrapped up in her shield so she wouldn’t find it funny at all. “Stop laughing all of you” Alice growled.

“What on earth Is going on?” We all stop laughing, or in Alice’s case shouting. Esme was back. “Esme, look what they’ve done to all of my clothes.” Esme looked down, then looked at Bella and Emmett. “do I even have to ask who did this?” Esme asked them with a raised eyebrow. I knew Bella hated getting told of by her Nana. She looked down playing with her hands. “Sorry Aunt Alice” But I could tell she didn’t mean it, she still thought it was funny.

“You can both get them all cleaned and dried for her now. Chop chop” Esme commanded them. Once they were in the laundry room we heard them both roar out with laughter. See she didn’t mean she was sorry.

“Who do you thinks next?” Victoria asked us. “I have no idea, let’s hope Alice was the only one they was aiming for.” Esme told her.

“We’ve finished Aunt Alice” Bella told her once her and Emmett walked back in to the living room. “Hi granddad” Bella smiled at him, he gave her a stern look, which made her gulp. “Why did you think it was a good idea to squirt cream allover your Aunt Alice’s clothes?” Carlisle asked her, he looked pretty pissed, but his emotions told me he wanted to laugh about the situation. “It was a prank, I’ve already apologized” Carlisle nodded and smiled.

About an hour later Edward decided to play on his piano, but as he walked around the corner he stood like a statue. “What’s up Edward?” Sophia asked him. “Emmett! Bella! What the hell have you done with my piano?” Edward growled. “What do you mean?” Bella asked him all sweet and innocent.

We all walked around to see what was up and his piano had disappeared. Edward had Emmett pinned to a wall within seconds. “Where’s my piano” Edward growled. “Don’t growl at my dad you bastad” Bella hissed at Edward and launched herself at Edward.

She had him on his back with her hand around his neck. “Go look on the roof” Bella told him once she jumped off of him. We all ran outside and looked up, there it was his piano on the roof. “we’ll get it down” Bella told him, before her and Emmett jumped up on the roof.

“Wai-“ Edward didn’t manage to finish his sentence his piano was on the ground in pieces, nobody was fast enough to break the fall.

Nobody said anything Edward was looking at Bella and Emmett like he wanted to kill them both, I quickly stood in front of Bella. f**k that, no one touches my mate. “Touch her and your dead” I warned him.

“Okay, I think this as gone too far. Bella, Emmett apologise” Carlisle interrupted knowing this was going to lead in to a fight.

“Sorry” They both mumbled, Edward nodded before storming in to the house with Sophia following him with her green hair.

“I’m going to hunt” Alice told us all before she headed to the woods, but the feeling I was getting from her was hope, and excitement. What is she up to?

Bella and Emmett was made to clean up the mess Edward’s piano had left and Carlisle ordered them both to pay and order Edward a new piano, of his choice. Of course he chose the most expensive one he could find. The basted.

A couple of hours later we all heard loads of footfalls heading our way, and only one scent were family. We all headed outside to meet the intruders when we notice Alice heading towards us with her hand in another’s, but it wasn’t that, that worried me. No the volturi was behind her. What are they doing here?
