Chapter 19

Bella...

It's being a month since Jasper proposed to me. Today me, Aunt Alice, mum, Sophia, Victoria and Nanna was all out looking at wedding dresses, I loved looking at wedding dresses, it made me realise how much I couldn't wait to find the perfect dress.

I was just about to try on another dress when I heard Aunt Alice gasp. "We need to go home. Now" Aunt Alice demanded. We didn't question her we just all headed out of the shop and headed to the our cars, me and mum were in my BMW I8, Aunt Alice and Nanna were in her Porsche while Victoria and Sophia were in Sophia's Mercedes. We made it home in 10 minutes.

"Family meeting" Alice demanded as soon as we walked in. "What's wrong Alice?" Granddad asked her. "I know it best be important, I thought I found the perfect dress but you had to drag me away before I could even try it on" I mumbled, but deep down I knew it was important.

"He's coming" Aunt Alice told us. "Who?" Rylie asked her. "James" Aunt Alice whispered, I noticed Victoria went rigid. "Well we'll just kill the son of a bast-" Granddad interrupted me. "Bella" I nodded, knowing he hated violence and 'cussing'.

"It's not that simple. He's coming with Laurent, and a few new-borns" I nodded, not seeing what the problem is. "How can you not understand Bella, newborns are lethal" Aunt Alice told me, obviously seeing that I wouldn't be too fussed. "I know that, but we have Jasper and Xavier who were in the wars, we've all being trained, so what's the problem?" I asked them.

"With that attitude you'll get yourself killed" I heard Sophia mumble. "What because I'm not scared like the rest of you that a few newborns are coming because James isn't happy that my brother met his mate. I'm sorry to tell you Sophia, but I'd do anything for my family, and that includes killing newborns so they can be happy" I snapped at her.

"So you're not bothered that newborns are coming for you and your family ready to rip you to shreds?" I laughed at her. "Listen to what I'm saying. Jasper was in the southern wars along with Xavier, so they know what there against, do they seem bothered? No, so why should we, Jasper's trained us all, so what's the problem?" I asked her, really not understanding why she's so scared.

"I'm with Bells on this one, it'll be fun to have a fight, it's gotten boring around here just lately" I smiled at my daddy, he loves fighting even if it's only mock fights. "Well don't come complaining to me when some of your family get burnt because of your attitude about all of this" I was about to say something, but Uncle Eddie beat me to it. "Sophia, that's enough. I won't have you talking to my niece like that. She's right, we've all being trained so what's the problem?" Sophia looked shocked that Uncle Eddie had just put her in her place.

"She has you all wrapped around her finger, you all think that's she's so perfect and wouldn't do anything wrong, you all spoil her too much, no wonder she still acts like a f*****g child" Before anyone could say anything the Major was out.

"I wouldn't disrespect my mate if I was you Sophia, Isabella's right, there shouldn't be any injuries on our side, I've taught you all to fight, me and Xavier know what to expect. It won't be like the mock fights we have in the back garden we will have to actually kill the newborns along with this James and Laurent" Nobody said anything they knew not to say anything unless the Major asked them to, me I had a smile on my face.

"What's the plan Major?" Xavier asked him after a couple of minutes of silence. "We'll keep training until they arrive" He turned to Aunt Alice. "When will that be?" Aunt Alice looked around the table before looking back at the Major. "In about two weeks' time" I sighed in relief. "So he won't be f*****g up my wedding" I smiled as Major chuckled, it was only me who he would be calm and relaxed with but everyone else he was there for business.

"How many?" I asked my Aunt Alice. "Including James and Laurent 15, there were more but there fighting with each other, but James thinks it's enough" I nodded and looked at my Major. "I'll call the Denali's for help" Granddad told us. "No need Carlisle. If there are only 15 including James and Laurent we won't need any reinforcements. There are 12 of us so that's enough against the 15" The Major told him which made Granddad sigh.

"Rylie and Victoria you can go for James, seen as though he's doing this to get to you both, everyone else can take whoever." The Major ordered looking to see if anyone wanted to argue, once no one said anything the Major walked out of the room and into the woods.

I turned and looked at Sophia. "Just because your mated to my uncle doesn't mean I won't kick your ass into next year if you talk to me like that again" I hissed at her before heading off in to the garage and jumped into my car before driving off. I'm going to try on that wedding dress.

After I headed back home everyone turn to look at me. "Where's Bella?" Rose asked me. "I don't know" We all looked at Alice. "She's gone to try on that wedding dress" everyone chuckled except Sophia who huffed and rolled her eyes. "Ok what's your problem with my sister" Rylie hissed at her.

We have a battle coming and she's off trying on a stupid wedding dress" I growled. "Bella see's this all differently. She's the Major's mate, she can knock all of us on our back within seconds, and she knows we can all look after ourselves." Rylie growled at her. Nobody said anything, just looked at Rylie with their jaws hanging.

A couple of hours later Bella walked in with a garment bag in her arms. "Did you get it?" Alice asked all excited. Has she not seen it? "Yep" Alice clapped her hands, before she huffed. "Why can't I see it?" Bella rolled her eyes. "I've blocked it" Everyone laughed at Alice's face. "You'll see it in a month's time Aunt Alice" Bella told her, which put a small smile on Alice's face. "Don't think of peeking Jasper or I will take your hands till the wedding" I held my hands up. "Wouldn't dream of it" She nodded, happy with my answer.
