The year is 1787 the French empire is severally in debt after lending money towards the American colonies, the nobles bleed the common folk dry of everything they are worth, famine has left the people hungry and starving, Revolution is on the brink of starting, and to make matters even worse vampires have started appearing all over the country. And a young girl no older than 19 finds herself caught up in it. Maria Tuemonc was the daughter a of minor French Nobel her father was a baron and lord of a small farming community so to say she was near the bottom of the French hierarchy was sure to say. So when the young girl gets an invitation to attend a fancy gala being held by the one and only Countess Carmila le Vlad Tepes. Despite being a bit suspicious of the whole ordeal she attends the gala and finds something she would never expected.
