In keeping with the rest of the clusterfuck the summer was turning out to be, Aunt Sue and Bert pulled into the driveway minutes after Cal got home from lunch. He counted to ten before he opened the front door. “Aunt Sue, Bert, I wasn’t expecting you.” He stepped aside to allow them in, forcing himself to be polite. Sue strode into the house as if she owned it, took one look around the still-disorganized living room, and walked through to the kitchen without a word.
