Stone came back from the bathroom, looking calm and acted like nothing had happened a few minutes ago.
“Pardon me, my Luna,” he said with all smiles
Natasha was trying to figure out what was happening, she stood with her mouth agape, her two hands raised above her shoulders, and her palms wide open facing the sky.
He walked up to her and held her hands, his eyes searching her eyes, “Natasha, I lost my peace when you left me without saying goodbye and I don't want to ever wake up without you by my side”
“Are you kidding me” She rasped out with shock. Her eyebrows shot to her hairline at the sudden confession she was hearing.
She liked him, she felt a surge of emotions for him when she saw him sleeping the day she left his house but she didn't want to be his mate, and what did he mean by the Luna he called her?
“I don't even know you,” she said as she looked at his hands still holding her hands
“I am Stone Aurora, the Alpha of Nashville”
“What” her eyes popped out in shock.
Everyone knows about Alpha Stone Aurora, he was known for his wickedness and power but she had never imagined that he would ever come to her house, let alone, be his mate.
“ I cannot be your mate, I am just an orphan” I whispered as he pushed me towards himself. “I am weak, I was rejected by my mate, that was why you saw me at the club that day,” She said every terrible thing she could think of about herself to make him see reasons why he shouldn't desire her but all of it, fell to a deaf ear, as he ignored everything she was saying.
“I wasn't asking you, I have made up my mind” he turned to face a picture of hers, that she hung on the wall.
“You will do whatever I say now, if not, I am going to get the Alpha of your pack involved in this”
His voice didn't sound kind neither were his words loving and she knew that she was only a pawn in some games that he was playing but she was tired of everything and she needed an escape.
She needed to leave Moon Pack, so she didn't have to watch the man she had loved all her life, raise a family without her in it.
“Do you accept to be the Luna to the most powerful Alpha, Natasha,” He asked with pride in his voice.
Natasha still hadn't processed everything happening as she thought that, the week before was the most eventful week of her life but here she was, in the middle of chaos as an event in itself but she nodded.
“ Yes,” Her heart hurt and the room suddenly felt smaller.
He took her hands and led her to his car, and he drove her to Nashville.

As they approached a magnificent building, Natasha observed a crowd gathered in the courtyard of the building.
There were different age groups of Pack participants, they talked quietly among themselves as they pointed towards them when they saw them alighting from the vehicle.
Stone held her hands and walked her through the crowd to the front of the people. His expression turned indifferent as he glanced over the crowd of people who had come to welcome his Luna.
He had asked his best friend and Beta of his pack to gather the people around, as he would be showing them their Luna, before leaving for Moon Pack.
He knew that nobody could refuse him, and he was confident that, Natasha was going to come home with him.
The people quieted down when he stepped forward.
He cleared his throat and spoke “Members of Nashville, you all know that I am a man of few words, so, I am going to go straight to the reason why we are all gathered here.
Today, I present to you, your Luna. His words were firm and final as he spoke loudly for everybody in the courtyard to hear.
When he finished speaking, he gave her a tight-lipped smile, and he pulled her closer to himself. Natasha’s body buzzed with electricity. She hugged him as he wrapped his hand around her waist. She closed her eyes and inhaled sharply, shocked at the realization that even chosen mates could raise the sparks in her and cause her heart to patter in delight.
Maybe this would work out, maybe she would experience genuine love with this cruel Alpha after all. She thought to herself.
“You are mine now, mate, you will experience hell on earth from this day to your last days on earth” Alpha Stone whispered into her ears.
