It's a lie

Back in the USA :

'' It was a rough night , hold on , I need to take this call '', said Neha.

'' Sure '', replied Jasmin.

Jasmine and Neha have been friends since school . Both opted for the same stream and now are at the same college . They were Rachel and Monica of FRIENDS. Jasmine is the youngest daughter of her family . Today their mid seams got completed , so they had gone to a nearby bar to enjoy themselves .

'' no , tell me it's a lie '', said Neha, who was weeping.

''what's wrong", asked Jasmine.

'' Jass , my family ....''

'' What's wrong Neha , please for god's sake tell me , i am worried and scared at the same time.''

'' Jass , my parents are no longer , they ...... they committed suci...'' , said Neha, who fainted before completing the sentence .

'' Neha......."

''Help , please , we need a doctor. Hang in there Neha , I am here for you.''

A passerby helped jasmine and they quickly went to a nearby hospital . No it's not true , someone might be joking , Neha's family can't claim their lives , thought Jasmine. She quickly takes out her phone and calls her mom .

''Hello '', said Kavita

''Hey mo...''

''Jass, what's wrong? Where were you? I have been trying to reach you. I texted you '', asked kavita , '' is neha with you ?''

''Mom, is it true that ...''

'' Yes beta it's true ''

Jasmine was shocked and scared , she didn't know how to respond . How would I calm neha down? She thought.

'' Are you Miss Neha's guardian?'' , asked the doctor.

'' Well , yes , I am Jasmine , her friend and room mate ''

'' Your friend fainted , maybe because of stress and shock , are you fine ?'' , asked the doctor seeing jasmine gasping for breath

'' Yes , i am. Can I see Neha ?''

''Yes , you can, she's in room 402 .''

'' Thank you doctor''

As Jasmine entered the room , she saw Neha lying on the bed. Her tears dried up and her eyes turned red. Seeing her condition , she felt miserable . Just an hour ago, everything was fine, we were partying and laughing and now this sudden sadness .

'' Neha '', called jasmine

On seeing her , Neha busted out like a baby. She hugged Jasmine and closed her eyes. Breathing heavily, she said , '' Everything's over Jass ... Everything's over...."

'' It's not over , Neha , once you get discharged , we will fly back to India. ''

'' I don't know how I am going to handle this .''

I can't see her like this , no , it's wrong , why on earth , my dear friend has to suffer, thought Jasmine.

''I am with you'', said Jasmine, smiling at Neha , trying to hide her tears.

The next day , they booked a flight and landed in Ahmedabad . I know it's going to be hard, but I am going to stay strong. I need to find the reason behind my family's death . i am going to fight with my fears . I am not going to cry. I will stay strong like you always said papa, thought Neha
